@@ShadowSkyX Probably due to the interviews with Eiji Aonuma as he's been teasing an Ocarina of Time remake happening. Hopefully they include Master Quest again. Eiji Aonuma wouldn't outright say it's coming though, as he's got in trouble from Nintendo for that before, which was Skyward Sword HD, but he still loves teasing his upcoming games. That said, I'd say, if a Zelda game is going to be a launch title again, the worst case scenario would probably be that rumoured Breath of the Wild port, which certainly would be a repeat of the Switch. It wouldn't be so bad though if they allow people who own the game already to either upgrade for free or at least a small fee instead of having to outright buy it again if they want to play the upgraded version.

The way I see it is there's a clear pattern: Leakers who get a couple of things right and then start making TONNES of statements left and right about every topic, as if they have access to all the information inside the whole company. I never believe these people. That's what Zippo was like, what Marcus Sellars was like I think, and now Samus Hunter. I think they get exposed to some real info, then they start guessing a tonne and just because they had some stuff right once upon a time, they get taken seriously. Yes, they got stuff right before so they might get stuff right again. But when they constantly talk about so many things, it's clear they're guessing. So it's just not interesting to listen to them at that point. That's why I don't take NashWeedle seriously either. Yes they got some stuff right. But then they made such a huge number of statements afterwards and it's like "really? do you really have access to ALL that stuff?" I don't buy it.

@@padmoch2207 That's a screenshot button, a button made for screenshots that got the function to capture videos by long pressing long after release. Nintendo did this because they had no other choice. But a dedicated button offers more flexibility for videos, maybe click for a 15 sec clip, click and hold shortly to start a recording, click during recording makes 15sec clips while still recording and long holding again stops the recording, all while the screenshot button can remain as a screenshot button for example

Xenoblade x had two signs it was coming prior to its announcement. Monilith had a game coming out under the code name "legacy." I knew it had to be a new xenogame given how much heavier the emphasis on legacy there was in 3. Or that it was a remaster/remake of one of the old ones, either x or saga (bandi-namco had special thanks at the end of 3's dlc so it felt like a possibility). The other sign was about 2 or 3 weeks prior to the trailer, youtube/nintendo took down a bunch of xenoblade songs, which i found suspicious after noticing a time a bunch of music got taken down for a different game, only for it to get announced days later. When that happened to a bunch of the xenoblade music, i was suspicious we'd get something announced soon. And sure enough two or three weeks later x was announced.

This vid convinced me. Cross gen MP4 day one (say June) - which would give it such a natural boost in sales and re-elevate the series. Then Splatoon 4 in late July/Early August Next 3D Mario in October, and then idk… Mario Kart in April 2026 does seem late but it would make sense to tie something as big as that in with the Mario movie sequel

Prime 4 coming out at the end of the systems life is because of it being scrapped and restarted, BOTW was not restarted lol. Prime 4 is a Switch 1 game only. Another 3 months or so and I can finally stop hearing people saying it will be cross gen. Metroid Prime 4 makes more sense because, 1) It’s been in development for a much longer time than any other possible Switch 2 title. 2) Fans have been waiting for it for a much longer time, either since the previous Metroid Prime game released in 2007, or since the 2017 announcement.

Here’s the thing though it launched with a Zelda that took the franchise in a totally different direction that people were just overly excited about. If MP4 can do the same thing for Metroid it will be amazing. Honestly I’m just expecting a bigger Prime 1-3 with more openness. The prime games are basically open world as it maybe it’s like BoTW meets Prime in terms of hey look you can go genuinely anyway you want and a way to do it it’s just easier if you do it in a certain way.

3D Mario and Mario Kart 9 not being a release game when it's been going on 8 years since Odyssey came out and going on 11 years since Mario Kart 8 first came out makes no sense. Saying Mario or Mario Kart 9 would hinder third party sales is nothing...that's ALWAYS been the case. Almost nobody buys a Nintendo system for 3rd party games. Those 3rd party companies know that. Even with Switch 2 being stronger, it's still going to get the weakest versions of 3rd party games going forward. That's just life man. Accept it and move on. To think that it would be a good and exciting thing to launch a system with old 3rd party games that came out years ago like say Elden Ring is not a sign of a healthy system.

Close to 95% of the Nintendo games released on switch were Wii-U or pre-developed on Wii-U. Also, they took an extra year to mass produce switch 2 in droves, so everyone can get one and lastly, to have a bunch of great titrles availbel at launch to choose from. If SamusHunter knows and keeps shooting down words starting with the letter C, surely someone's going to keep throwing out suggestions, and the one SamusHunter doesn't deny (or simply ignores) would sudden;y gain alot of interest. (Community is still my thought.) Metroid Prime 4 as launch title in late spring is Nintendo giving up on MP2 and MP3. Can't give MP2 and MP3 in February, and MP4 just a 3-4 months later. Its already troublesome to try three in the calendar year and expect them all to hit marks in the same holiday season, but to do three games in sucha short timespan smells like disaster to everyone outside the hardcore fan group. And an avoidable disaster since MP2 has been presumed done for over a year and could have had a 2023 or 2024 release and its own holiday window to build upon, more evenly spaced between Dread and Prime 4.

If they drop the price it will outsell the ps2. Nintendo shouldve dropped the price years ago

They can’t really drop the price too much now as they need to focus on making sure the Switch 2 is as appealing as possible to consumers. I’d imagine they’ll just drop the OLED and the regular model, so you can choose between Switch 2 or Switch lite, so there’s strong feature differentiation as well as price differentiation between the two gens.
