I feel like NL is getting caught up on the name multiplier, multiplication is commutative, they're both multipliers, the lower of the two is always more valuable.

Teleporter does this all the time. It starts trying to suck in one resource, but that resource is blocked by a wall of other resources it never brings it in. Happened to me like 3 or 4 times in my last long run, you have to constantly be grabbing it and moving it around in the stack of resources to get it to work properly and it still might fuck up.

The thing is the lift carries resources in the background, they don't interact at all. Teleporter should do the same, done.

Awesome run. I had a 1380ish run the other day with repellant and laser. I got probe, resource conv. , lift and stun laser. Never thought it could go that far without teleporter. Also the only reason I died was I teleported down using the eye thingy without using my repellant and noticed too late.

My high score is 7700 but got an insanely good lift run with 5900 once - you don't necessarily need the teleporter but it's still goated.

@@notyourdad My runs seem to mostly end due to mistakes rather than taking other gadgets. Sometimes not watching my health during a wave and dying, even thought i have like 6 cobalt in the bank and 30 gold in the lift.

Motherlode should only be kept for bigger finds towards the end. I would use something like cumbersomelode or cumlode for short.

If you have too much stuff near the portal it will get stuck trying to grab one type of resource but a different type is in the way. For example if the portal is completely covered up by squares but it decides to teleport a triangle the triangle can't make it to the portal and it wont do anything. You gotta either not squish things into the hole like he was doing, or move the portal every once and a while.

Better carrying capacity = better econ Faster trips + more ore and you can buy speed later

At the beggining it's better to have better carrying speed due to short distances, once you reach layer 3 or so you NEED to prioritize speed, the time you loose going up and down is greater than time lost going above carry capacity in the long term

Teleporter sometimes does this, it is unable to fully drag the resource to itself, so it will just get stuck forever trying to pull the jammed piece.

What a terrible way to end. You'll get a really good run soon i can feel it. I had a non perfect run with my own special strategy and took #20 on the leaderboard today, from 75 to 20 from 14250 to 26600 or so. I will say i didnt use teleporter or drillbert, only got 1 of my wanted gadgets and my tree broke halfway through! Never set the seed next to an indestructible wall. Thanks for the domekeeper content i wouldn't have known about this game if it wasnt for you

you really gotta start pumping score earlier, unless youre swimming in triangles you start taking way too much damage past wave 50 from what ive seen, the second youre stable with fumes + some upgrades i start pumping score as much and as fast as possible, youll never live forever, theres always a wave where you will inevitibly die, so once you get your core upgrades just pump score and hope you find enough triangles to keep up with the damage. also I know you love teleporter but the reason lift is so good is because you can utilize it while having something like condenser + probe, condenser is the MVP with repellant. giving you extra time per wave and making fumes last longer is just insane for free, allowing you to pump score even more. FWIW since you always bring it up my highscore right now is 6.5k with laser + repellant if that makes my advice more enticing, it sucks because looking at your highscore video if it wasnt your first deep run you probably would have gone pretty damn high, big stockpile and your multipliers were insane, if you can afford early multiplier always opt for it, just makes pumping slightly easier later and 1 water or 2 iron can be pretty useless early and you can get a nice 3x3 going by mining down the walls to find early triangles, i usually mine the walls to a level 1 past where im comfortable mining to find as many triangles as possible and so i can pump them as early as possible

Ok but tik tok has made working in retail a living hell. I worked at Bath and Body when that stupid “take in your empty candle and they’ll give a new one free of charge” thing was going around. That’s not the policy, it’s never been the policy. What company is giving out $30 candles for free because you bought one on sale 8 months ago? The amount of people I had call about that in the weeks following that stupid tik tok was more than I had call about anything else the entire year or so I worked there. And the amount of times I had to explain to some 35 year old woman that not everything you see on tik tok is true and we aren’t going to exchange her 12 empty candles that have all been discontinued for 3 years with brand new releases will haunt me to this day.
