Hello Peter and Joyce. We cannot grow pineapple plants in our garden here in Tennessee because it gets cold in the winter. But, we enjoy purchasing pineapples at our grocery store. When you cut off the top leaves, the leaves can be placed into dirt and grown in a flowerpot inside of the house. They will grow a new pineapple while inside the home.
