Good stuff. As long as you're not overstocked with sheep, they can continue to do that. Abram Bowerman talks about it in "The Practical Shepherd". A handful can be super easy and profitable. I also think you're spot on with grazing the broomsedge hard, early. Didn't notice the pats (multitasking!) but as long as they look good, keep doing it!

Sooo…. Right now I’m just using an all stock mineral. I have the Free Choice Enterprises feeder and have used it before. It’s so stinkin’ expensive since to ship. I like the FCE idea, not crazy about price tag.

I have tried the kelp and salt mixed with a standard tsc mineral bag and feel like they don't touch it

@@christopherwheeler818 I wonder if you offered them just the mineral if it would change. I think salt is often used as a limiter to keep them from getting too much.
