new hsr player here for about a week now, and i agree. the new player experience feels really easy w/ Feixaio being able to clear the overworld grouping enemies up. It was super confusing w/ all the events being available all at once and i have no idea what is what... but over time i'm gettin the hang of it and better understanding what things are and their purpose.

Iv been playing for just under 2 weeks, Near the end of the story now (trailblazer 43 atm) Honestly the new player experience is good at the start but falls off a cliff if you don’t get a good dps, took me 160 pulls to get fei and my only good unit until that point was March 7th hunt, now I actually have fei everything sped up dramatically, hoping I have time to pull Robin before her banner ends

just try to do the events in the approximate order they appeared, or during that part of the story. so like do the Belobog museum quest right after finishing the Belobog story. each event will usually have a prerequisite quest so you can just do them as soon as that gets done, should help keep track. the combat events you can just come back to as you get stronger.

I feel like that we are truly kindred spirits. As in Genshin, HSR, ZZZ, Wuwa..I enjoyed my F2P accounts from scratch borderline more than my first time around. When you already have all figured out..can finally utilize every characters kit to the fullest, since they are not maxed out ez clap, it just feels so rewards. Then there is the character progression...man, if there is anything I am addicted to in these games then its gotta be the progression..getting stronger, literally feeling the progress every single day, just feels so good.

The one upside to the Quadruple banner is that new players should have the resources to grab two of the characters and build a solid team around it. 1. If you grab Fexiao and Robin, you'll have a pretty set Follow up team since Moze is on rate up and March 7th is free. 2. If you choose to go for Kafka and Blackswan instead, you'll have a decent Dot team which while it may struggle in MoC, it's pretty good in pure fiction.

I also love the Fei tornada, used it in shackliong prison with the borisins and got like 6 packs, felt great! Also loving the new account experience (most of it) and how they dealt with integrating new content - like the swordblade March is sooo quick available now... because the 2.4 - 2.5 quest can be played pre Penacony! Not started penacony yet, at level 36 currently - not having any "you need to wait 2 levels to continue the main quests" feels soooo good. I really do not like when yo have to spent hours on some wierd quests you dont wanna do now... HSR really did such a great job. Also building my FUA and Break Team and also following a similar strategy then yours Volkin - Rappa come HOME soon :)))

Started my alt account while we still had free Ratio but didn't start playing it properly until 2.3. I've only done a single 10 pull on standard (got Robin in legit 3 pulls, it was insane) and I still have nearly 400 pulls. One of the things I did when raising this account was speedrun the story before upping my equilibrium level, just so I could get through the bosses without tearing my hair out, although the casual mode boss fights probably fix that issue now. I also fed my standard wishes into the actual standard banner instead of the beginner wish, which gets you WAY closer to the 300. Good luck on getting Gallagher, he's such a good healer/break sub-dps!

I finished all of Xianzhou heading into Penacony, still equilibrium 0, my charecters are still max level at 30, the game scaling at 30 lets you breeze through all content and collect soo much resources very easily, then later you can decide what you want to do with them and raise equilibrium.

feixiao is the best character for beginner and it's very easy to build f2p if really unlucky, feixiao alone can handle the game insane dps and work with with many follow up moze is in the same banner, march the hunt is free from event, put random sustain and call it a day feixiao+march+moze is one of the best f2p team, better than put random harmony, just good as using ruan mei then biggest upgrade to feixiao is robin, new player have enough gem to pity both they also have kafka+black swan as other option fei is the only one that don't really need premium option as other team building as easy

COMPLETLY DISAGREE I started as F2P and I've just now completed the story and events after 250 hours. I have only pulled enough Jades for 2 guaranteed premium 5 star characters. I cannot clear most of the endgame content due to only having one decent team (Robin feixaio) to be clear, you need 180 pulls to guarantee the banner 5* and I've only made enough for 2. granted you can win each 50/50 and get 4 banner characters. I'll admit it isn't bad but you will NOT be able to go for Light Cones or Eidelons, much less any more than 4 banner characters. this game is not free in any way shape or form.

Hello, i am just here to ask a quick question (spoiler alert: IT IS NOT QUICK RUN WHILE YOU CAN) I am a genshin player that started playing genshin in 2.3 and has except that never played any gacha games. I was there when hsr launched but never played it because i, a lore player cuz lore is best, wanted to play honkai impact 3rd before because i assumed that there was some lore stuff that held those two together. Turn out i was kinda wrong i guess. I know that recently there was also a free EVENT 5 star for you guys. (brooooo we just got our first free fivestar overall over here people were celebrating) I am now asking myself if it would even make sense to start this game by now. But maybe for you to answer this question it would be helpful to first know why i am considering playing the game in the first place. Aventurine & Sparkle Yep thats it. Pretty much. Btw sorry if i wrote their names wrong lol. (I FIRST WROTE THE DUDE AVENTIO BTW AND THEN I REALISED) I for some reason just love these two characters. I dont know much about the lore of hsr, i just know a few things about these two characters, a few interactions of them with other characters (And for instance ratio and aventurine shipping, i was watching kitsubee becuz of cyno and tighnari when sumeru came out but damn the aventurine x ratio shippers are getting fed over there.) And i know a tini tiny bit of lore about them. I have now since like half a year considered starting to play hsr, but i am kind of worrying about one or two things. For instance how much time you would use just to get your daily stuff done. I already know i am never gonna see genshin the same way again but that is unimportant. We also have the factor that, if i have sat out all of that, the whole thing would make any sense for me at all. I am also wondering about how much story is even considered in hsr. And i have heard you can change the story depending on what you do? The powercreep of this game is a bit of an issue and the game kinda demands you having certain premium characters to certain end game content and with the amount of new characters that we have been having its not necesssarly the best f2p experience, it is still pretty good. I just hope they slow down they release of characters( which i believe they will do in rappa patch) and doing more of these Indelible Coterie Event Warps will also help a lot Btw i also agree with on the robin take, i cant pull for her because of the fk ult song. That stuff is eardrum destructive especially in long term ahhah. I dont get it how ppl enjoy to have such a badass and powerfull ult such as feixiao´s going on with that music on the background... however i do think that the idea of having a song in the ult of a character is actually amazing, the song just needs to be hype and not this idol stuff or at least add a mute button to the ult of the character that has a song in ult

I dont know if you keep up with the leaks but Sunday’s kit makes 1.0-1.6 hypercarry dps characters alive again. Since both skill and ult are single target buffs, just means the multiplier of the buffs are stronger compared to Bronya, Sparkle, Robin, and Ruan Mei ult buffs which are aoe, shared among allies. Sunday makes powercrept characters deal more dmg, also can support those who have summons.

From my experience unless you didnt bother to pull any characters since 1.6 until now. You wont even feel the powercreep with how strong characters are, specifically harmonies. Hell, im even still using seele, a character from 1.0 till now and she still clears MOC in 2-3 cycles off-element, clears every PF with 40k points with just sparkle/tingyun/sustain even in off-element, and clears AS in 1500-1600 points consistently despite being off element on an endgame content that wants you to break enemies. The trick is simple, just make sure to pull for harmonies and suddenly even "powercrept" units are destroying everything in record time and im an F2P as well. Unless you are deliberately trying to not pull on harmonies (like robin/ruan mei), then any character will feel like shit and powercrept.

He's got 21k left That's from a few weeks of playing when feixiao banner came up Hsr is very generous with the gems for new players. If u do while watching other stuff like movies etc.. u can tap tap2 skip.. Feixio also makes running faster. So exploration from point to point should be fast while killing mobs. It's a chore but it's not that bad if u multitask while on it. And only focus when u need a manual to control to pass

It makes things faster but ofc you will miss a lot of things about the plot, but you can get the gist of what’s happening because of the cut scenes and battles, but the details are lacking if u keep on tap2 just like me 😂

This kills the Gacha for me though, I play Gacha cuz I want to have limited resources to pull units that are hanging by the RNG thread. That's why I do a 10 pull the moment I get enough currency to do a 10 pull no matter how sh1t a unit banner is. It gives me challenge. very good for new players though, makes better sense to recommend this game to New Players cuz FOMO in this game isn't a lot, you can just do all former events without any issues at all. And banner rotations are getting faster that you won't feel too much gap for units you want to pull.

7:00 is truly the duality of players Type 1 - I can't stand Robin's song and its immersion breaking Type 2 - "Mend your pace, away to the beat. Hands up, embrace who you wanna be ..." Well its not like you need Robin to make Feixiao work, its just optimal to have her Feixiao can be run in a hyper carry team, used with March 7th & Moze/Topaz in a follow up comp and can even be used alongside Boothill (ult to get them low and Boothill to break plus the damage she does is still good even when not being direct;y buffed) BTW concert for 2 is actually pretty good cause its one of the better lightcones for Aventurine so in the future he'd have something if you don't go for the lightcone as he's definitely a priority for Feixiao teams
