I went to the Hope Zoo a few weeks ago. I had not. gone there in years. I was pleasantly surprised!!!. The place is absolutely beautiful. The new management has done an absolutely wonderful job on the place The grounds were well- kept and the animals looked well cared for. Signage was good; Security was tight, Our group felt very comfortable, Staff was friendly and helpful. This place is operating at first world standards!!. Good job Hope Zoo. I shall return.

Welcome back very lovely i enjoyed this so much i visited the Hope Botanical garden many times when i was in primary school and high school it bring back fun memories and at the time a section of the park had funland and you pay to go on the rides such a the train and the faries wheel ect i observed they have improved on the garden bringing in more animals please please go back and visit so we can the next side of the garden and what it as to offer thanks

Tom, say to the bird, 'Hi, Pretty' over and over. As a child, thats how we addressed the parrots and people would also teach them to cuss, lol. They were fun. I'm not sure if they were endangered then because in my district a few persons would have one at home, caged and theyd say its their watchman.😂

Back in the 70s with the amusement park bumper cars and roller coaster next to the zoo had a lot fun there 73 to 81 about. I think it's no more amusement park in the middle is gone

Oh! The little one is brave to touch the snake and crock. I wouldn’t voluntarily touch a snake. I have touched a crock before. When I was a child growing up in Jamaica; men used to hunt crocks to go sell their skin for shoes and belts etc.

Thanks for the heads-up! We always emphasize safety with the kiddos. Fortunately Jamaica is free from venomous snakes, but we'll definitely teach our granddaughters about the ones in the States too. Big up yourself!
