Switch field 54 and 52 after harvest. 54 is your grass field so just keep harvesting it until you're ready to cultivate and plant field beans. Then just plant grass in 52 after field bean harvest. Grass is grass and if you're just going to be feeding it to your cattle after putting it in the pit, then it shouldn't matter.

9:55 People commented in the previous episode that there was a large amount of silty clay in that field. Look in the top left of your map at 0:31 on this video. Every time you open the buy land interface on a map that fully supports Precision Farming where the creator has done the soil maps built into the map, you will see the percentage of soil types. You just cant see where in the field the soil types are from that screen. it said 66% silty clay. If you wanted a more decent soil type, 49, 50, and 53 might have been better choices. also at 10:52, on all the maps I have played on (FS22 base maps and modded), if you put lime in first, then add fertilizer, the fertilizer removes the lime texture. Perhaps it is because I always use liquid ferilizer or digestate and not granular. If you further go on to spray herbicide right after fertilizer, it changes the texture back to look dry from the darker texture of fertilized, although if you are running PF, you really should get a see n spray sprayer to apply both ferilizer and herbicide cos it will save on costs and turbo your Enviromental bonus like crazy.

Dont place too much emphasis on soil type. Run your environmental score up to 100 and just take the good with the bad. In the big picture it is not going to make that much difference. Look at it like selling as you produce instead of waiting for price. It is more tuned to real life, in the end you are making money and that is all that counts. Sometimes penny-pinching will backfire on you in the long run. It is about making intelligent decisions.

just a tip if you want you can repair your fert spreader, you can spread fert much faster than you are currently.

To further my previous post; you know you have poor soil in a field, so plant accordingly. Plant a root crop or even grass in the poor fields and plant your lower yield crops in the fields with better soil. Trust me, if you plant sugar beet or potato in the field you just bought you will not notice a decreased yield at all.

Adding lime first is not gonna make it tricky to see where you've fertilized. The lime is gonna add the white layer, but fertilizing is gonna remove the white, so it's actually much easier that way. Also, when you emptied the last 28 l of lime. If you had taken the almost full bag you already had and put it into the spreader before emptying you'd have 1 bag with 1828 l, now instead you have 2 bags with 1800 and 28 l. Just to keeep the yard a little tidier.

The Kubota spreader (DSX-W Geospread from Kubota equipment pack mod) can have fertilizer and lime, and have 10.000 litres when upgraded to max.

Actually if you do the lime first so the field is white, it's easier to see where youve been with the fertiliser because the white (limetexture) gets removed. Try it out, youll see :)

There is a modded version of that fertilizer spreader that does Lyme at the same distance as the fertilizer. It's not hyper realistic, but it means you only need one implement for both.
