You have the intrepid enthusiasm for adventure of olde-timey explorers, Renée. These dramatic picking videos put the storage shed buy channels. For sure. Watching you fossick about in the dark puts me in mind of those thriller short videos from 'DUST". Ya got me hanging to see the 'reveal' footage now! And I now find myself saying, 'Enough of the jibber-jabber". It's my new thing.

Rene you could get an LED lantern fairly cheaply from Amazon that would be so much better than a flashlight. It would help you and your viewers see the treasures in locations like this.

4 point Hudson Bay blanket=4 beaver pelts. Go up to 6 point blankets for 6 pelts. Couer De Bois mountain men who trapped beavers. Beaver hats very popular early in 19th century. Good information on beaver trade in book and tv series Centennial. great stuff but I'd be afraid to stick my hands in.

Interesting for sure. Reading a bunch of the comments, can see there are those who DO, and those who pay people to DO! I'd be a doer, like you and your friend are. The basment looked fun with a capital "F". The hole in basement floor wouldn't bother me as much as intrigue me. Attic look like could be a gold mine of intriguing items also. Look forward to the videos related to this place. Stay safe! 👍😁👍

The best thing about places like these are every box or tote that you find the closer that dig and look, the more that you will find!! That old 3 story house that I cleaned out (where the family never through anything away) was amazing!! Sometimes I went with a friend, but most often I went by myself!! Everyone kept asking me if I was scared??? I told them you can't be scared IF you want to find treasures and the more you dig the more that you find!! The old business envelopes, people will buy them for the graphics on the envelopes! HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME DIGGING !! 💖😃💖

Exactly Sharon! Not venturing into the basement or attic, you'll never know what you might have missed. I do wonder what was thrown out by the owner, but apparently each room was in pretty bad shape with trash everywhere and having to make paths on the floor just to be able to move around. I'm glad they saved that box of paper!

I would probably try an identify the toys and list them on eBay maybe a few times before taking them to flea market. I think putting them to auction you will make the most profit on them if there is any to make. Also depends on how long you want to have them sitting around before they sell. Even broken action figures, toy trucks and cars, board games, etc, etc, do sell for parts and pieces. I have had luck selling parts and pieces to all I mentioned, old taxidermy also. Props to you for going in the attic and basement, both looked spooky to me, 😆. Looked like some great music in the records you found.. Can’t wait to see more videos from this clean out, I think the further into that attic the more treasure you’ll will find. Love your your passion for this, especially the ephemera…

Todd Rungren raised Steven Tyler's daughter . She didn't know who her father was until she was waiting to see a commercial she had modeled in on VH1 and a Aerosmith video came on before her commercial . She immediately screamed to her mother and said mom get in her look how much this singer looks like me . Well mom had to tell her at that point . One of his albums was in there .

WOW! You had me with the Jetsons toy, from when you first got into that treasure house! What a place! I know that you have a time limit to clean the place out. I'd be in the place forever! The Beatles album, worth big bucks for the cover, is the "Beatles:Yesterday ... and Today". The original cover had cut up baby dolls and, for 1965, it was a bit too much for the time (especially since none of the songs, I guess like all of the Beatles' songs, none of them were "dark"). Anyhow, what a treasure chest!

That hole might’ve been an attempt at making a sump pit. It looked like that basement was pretty damp. I’d look hard at the rocks before you do anything with them. Not all native artifacts were arrowheads and might not be easily identifiable. Old deer mounts can go for good money too and that one had a good rack.
