Glad you got it running again, ran into you in Ardbeg last year IIRC, happy wheeling.

I’d just put flush mounted lights in the rear. I got mine for like 25$ a pair. They’re 4” LEDs. Super easy to install and easy to find locally. Most trucks run them. As for the front you can do the jk hack and put flush lights in your grill and trim the fenders so you don’t have these problems anymore

A couple of tips. 1 Never add cold water to a hot engine. 2 Never use tap water in your engine, distilled water please. 3 Pull one of your heater hoses off the top of the engine to allow the air out when filling your radiator, when antifreeze starts coming out of the heater hose opening replace the heater hose and then finish topping off your radiator. I know you read a lot, but there is always more to know. Warning: the first sign of insanity is repeatedly doing the same thing and expecting different results, after six or seven radiators I am beginning to wonder about you, LOL. Next video please!

When ever your engine is running and you get bubbles coming out of radiator you need a head gasket that is compression from the engine getting into the cooling system ..

Getting the full strength antifreeze you basically get 2 gallons for the price of one 50/50.

Engine sounds like my TJ, in the process of changing out my tensioner pulley, yes you heard me, process. Can’t get the bolt off the tensioner so I had to pull the alternator and the bracket. Taking it to my father-in-laws house to well a nut on so I can back it off. PB blaster did make it budge and the T40 bit broke off in it. Good times! Note to self, if I buy another TJ, pull tail light covers to make sure the assembly is not zipped tied on😂

How's your fan blade alignment, and clearance, after the bending, and flexing? Maybe spray some De icer on it and the rad, before your next "ice breaker" impersonation 😉

Why did your fan chew the radiator up?
@SmokinMonkeyOG Жыл бұрын
The last trail I went on, had frozen water crossings with 5 to 6 inch thick ice, one of the chunks got stuck between the radiator and the fan and bent the fan blades into the radiator. Just chewed the shit out of it

What do you think about a tail gate that is hinged on the bottom? That corner may not hold up much longer
@SmokinMonkeyOG Жыл бұрын
I mentioned in the video I’ll be replacing the corners soon. But I would still prefer a tailgate that’s hinged at the bottom but that introduces other problems like getting a new tire carrier because you’re not going to want the tire there if it’s hinged at the bottom.
