Oh Brooke... I did all those things to lease a horse. I lived in Los Angeles County, but in a fairly big city. I had to take a bus to the barn. Work at the barn (earned 2 lessons a week), get a job ( worked under the table for dog groomers after school), and get food grades. I did all those things, and by the time I was 11 years old (babysitter too), I was leasing a horse for $30.00 a month. All I had to do was ride. And ride I did. When a girl wants a horse, she works for it

At Christmas I used to make rum cakes for work . I don’t drink so I would get a very cheap rum. My Boss always loved my cakes, one year he gave a bottle of rum to use in my cakes. It was Johnny Walker “ 151”. I got red in the face just from the smell. Took it to work, my boss just loved it. Never seen such giddy people.🤣🤣🤣🤣

Brook I had something similar happen to me at our BX years ago. I never go out black Friday but will the day after. They had a KitchenAid deluxe mixer on sale for $60.00. I'd always had wanted 1 and took it to the register. It rang up as $179.00. Same was said about the sale being over. I took her to the display, she removed the sign but sold it to me for the sale price. Makes making the drop dumplings for my German style potato soup so much easier. Love watching your videos. Always watched my horses having their teeth floated,I was their security blanket. The month piece is made of metal a top part and lower part that’s hinged,to keep their month opened.
