LOL They casted an actual old man for Professor and it's the NAKATA NAKATA Nakata Jouji. I hope Sunraku becomes good acquaintances with Professor because I'm sure the information he could provide will definitely help him in the future. Araymis is also quite the character, I did find it amusing how Bilac did actually blush when he kissed her hand. I'm also looking forward to seeing him in action since he seems to be quite powerful. I am sure Sunraku could just tell him to protect Bilac if he's afraid of his skill to take away the challenge.

A 2 cour, back to back, season 2 in October by C2C, a studio which to my knowledge hadn't made season 2 of any of their anime adaptation before. Holy cow, the team passion for this series must be over 9000. Can't wait for season 2!

This anime really was made by true gamer for gamers it feels like that. The staff really know what their dooing and understad what would gamer do in the game provided he had the oportunity. This show is peak and the fact tit got a sesaon 2 show how great it and people love it.

I did not expect to love this anime like I already have. It’s fun, it’s exciting, the world is interesting the characters are enjoyable, and have so much chemistry together, the style is gorgeous the scenes are incredibly fun and get me hyped every single time, This is just such a fun series!! I really hope season two has the same quality as the first season because this was amazing. See you epic gamers in season two!! Also the old man voice coming out of the magical girl game me the most insane amount of whiplash

This season of SLF has covered 58 chapters of the manga, which currently has 171 chapters and releases weekly. That means it averaged 2.32 chapters per episode. The Wezaemon fight really increased the average, since it covered 13 chapters in 4 episodes; but that's to be expected from fight chapters, as they go by much quicker than dialogue heavy ones. Overall, I've been very pleased with this season of Shangri-La Frontier. Hopefully it'll get more attention by the time season 2 comes out.

I’m going to keep this one short. I liked Shangri-La Frontier way more than I originally thought I would. If there will be a time a console like the one we saw here exists irl I hope a game like this comes to being as well. I want this! I want to play this! Also mad respect to the staff behind this anime. They did an amazing job. I almost don’t believe they already announced a season 2 release at the end of this year (fall season being the last one of the year).

Best game anime out there,the author of this series really understands what makes a game great and they also understands the player mentality. I would also play the f*ck out of this game if it existed,the amount of things to do in it is actually insane! And ngl,Wezaemon fight is running for fight of the year to me,that one felt like a true unbeatable boss.

Just wait for the coming ESports portion. I just hope they will be able to cover it next season. And I can't wait for a certain scene to be animated because it's so far my favorite part of entire series. It involves Pencil and I can't wait for the anime community reaction when it aires.

@@dripsoup6639 Well, we ended around chapter 60 so I REALLY hope anime team can get to "Galaxia Heroes: Chaos" arc. It might require borderline rushing, but I think it can be done without loosing quality. After all I think first season had some padding (and one recap episode)

@@darkelfling65 by how the first season ended i'll expect season 2 ending on the very last page of chapter 111, where the last character of Nitro Squad is introduced and them challenging Star Rain is announced. That scene has the same vibe like the Professor's "would you like to help uncover this world's truth?" line this episode. Going that far into the 3rd arc makes it possible to get the tournament arc and the ctarnidd finale covered since a lot of fighting happens which covers 3-4 chapters per episode most of the time.

I'll assume they've planned already for the 3rd season, since the 3rd arc is too long for a 25 episode season to fully adapt. The 1st season ended 1/5 into the 2nd arc, if they do the something similar for the 2nd season they are able to fit the 3rd arc's finale into the 3rd season.

Honestly i think they worked on season 1 and 2 together because thats about as much content they can get with the manga if each season is 25 eps. I read the manga and it just doesnt have enough material right now. They will prpbably wait to do season 3 and 4 together once the manga has enough chapters
