No chance, Pogba is much more consistent and clearly a better player
@astrojeet3 жыл бұрын
@@arithmetic7105 Consistency wasn't really an issue with Diaby at all. It was mainly his injuries which didn't allow him to get a decent run of games. Diaby is the same if not better than Pogba in almost every aspect. Maybe you didn't watch him as much or just have a bad memory but Diaby was gonna be the next Vieira. Diaby was also a lot more versatile than Pogba. Diaby played on the wings, he played box to box, he played no. 10 and also defensive mid if needed. Diaby was a complete midfielder who could play anywhere. Pogba is very good on his day. But, if you talk consistency, Pogba isn't a good example. Pogba has more off days than good. You also need to play him in the right position with the right players around him to get the best out of him. With Diaby it did not matter.

What a wonderful player! I loved watching him. As a Liverpool fan, I really miss this era of Arsenal when they were such a great team to watch and always competing for the big trophies. Any game featuring Arsenal was worth watching. I can't think of another club who has lost so many brilliant players to injuries. Was it just bad luck? Or something to do with their training? Or they deliberately targeted by lesser teams? Diaby, Wilshire, Walcott, Ox, Cazorla, Ramsey, Eduardo all lost huge chunks of their career to terrible injuries from bad tackles.

I watched him absolutely destroy Steven Gerard in one of the precious few matches he played for Arsenal. The sport world was very sadly deprived of a genuinely WORLD CLASS footballer. I watched the incident that defined his career which was a blatant cowardly assault. Wenger said afterwards that they seriously considered reporting the assault to the police. I guess we were just lucky to have had him for the time we did.

Much much better than that idiot Pogba. On contrary of what most commented here, it’s not bad luck with injuries ruined him. It’s that tackle from Sunderland’s Dan Smith with broke his ankle and subsequently shorten his foot on one side completely after recovery. My dream midfield pairing of Abou Diaby and another lost talent in Micheal Johnson from Man City.

I mean... look at these horrendous challenges!!! And then there are people on the Internet who clearly have never played on a decent lavel and they think football is about kicking (not just the ball), who laugh and justify these potential career ending tackles when I say that players like this should not play this game. Some people don't really understand why it's called the ''beautiful'' game. There are ways to play hard without trying to break legs...

Yeah you know I’m actually going to talk about this, so basically like there are players like Diaby here, Who has so much potential and show it all the time they show that they have that quality that star quality to become a great player. But it’s unfortunate to see that injuries can take them over, for example let’s take Jack Wilshere, he was very potential as we saw with his arsenal game vs Barcelona, he had that star quality to become a great player for Arsenal, but, injuries can really really ruin a players career you know once they like get injured more and more throughout time. I’m a Manchester United fan and I can use Alexis Sanchez for example, he was such a predominant player for Arsenal and had all the quality statistics with him. But sadly of course injuries took the lad over and he didn’t get to reach that full potential with us. In conclusion, injuries can really ruin great players the more and more they get injured. And I think that Abou. Diaby could of been such a high, historical, iconic, beast for arsenal.
