I’m no AI wizard but here’s what I think AI will EVENTUALLY replace the SPECIALIST but not the GENERALIST (in many industries) AI is a tool for the generalist to use. Specialists will stick around - but only at high levels. These specialist jobs will transform into AI technicians or prompters. At high levels / budgets - the generalist will hire these AI technicians / prompters / specialists because THEY CAN. But lower / mid level budgets will opt in for cheaper methods. In the film industry, I believe you need to become the visionary, the storyteller, the creator, or the “director” I don’t think any of this applies to live events or anything that needs to ACTUALLY be documented. At least until robot cam ops are cheaper and better than humans.
