How is the silicone working ok with the resin? I’m so confused when we us silicone to make cells on a painting we have to clean the oil off before using resin - these are great just wondering how it’s not effecting the resin

I think the only reason I can get away with it is the silicone oil is only in the base layer, the oil leaves a slight film, I wipe them down and then when I pour the next layer the clear resin brings the shine back

I put a very fine spray of pure isopropyl alcohol into my intricate moulds. Really helps remove bubbles in the details. Lovely idea. Thank you.

@@karengibson2688 be careful about recommending isopropyl alcohol on projects where people are using heat gun/torches alcohol is extremely flammable - safety first! I’ve never tried spraying it in the mold before putting in the resin - now I’m going to try it! Thanks for the tip!
