I remember the big printed newspaper that Funcoland had in their stores every month. It would quote "Buy, Sell, Trade" prices of all the games for each system. It was like an old stock exchange newspaper clipping. It was cool to see the prices fluctuate each month

GZ on 99 str!!! The Microphone quality is clean I think it's a super nice upgrade. I do like the camera quality too but wouldn't make or break me watching the channel. Insane pick-up!! I really hope things work out and you can go and pick through his collection/storage units later down the line.

It would be really cool if u save the boxes and complete them in a new challenge. Hope you plan to go to expos might be fun to go on a “Manual Mission Challenge” to complete the NES. Really clean games and for the most part really nicely kept n64 boxes. I’d be really interested to see the other 4/5th of the storage units great finds love the videos keep them coming.

Epic score! Enjoying the Video! I had an epic score last year. Beautiful condition NES console with great condition boxed games (20+ of them) for $150! Kept half of the games for my collection, sold the rest. Your boxes may have condition issues, but this haul is massive! Congrats on the find!

I remember Funcoland. There was one in Arlington Texas that was attached to the Barnes and Noble bookstore. Sadly around the 1990's both went out of business

Had a funcoland across the street from where i lived in California. It was the place to be after school. I went there almost every day and spent hours playing videogames and the employees were cool with it. It all changed when they got bought by eb games then they turn into GameStop and we all know how that went 😂.

funco land was the tits back then for nes mostly..games were soooo cheap. TMNT 1 was like 15 cents or lower at one point...I remember buying gun nac for like $1.50, Id get like $15-20 from my mom and ride with some relatives out there and come back with a bag of stuff. Could you even imagine getting 4 nes games for under $1.50? Its almost like im making it up but at a point you cold...even more if you bought certain games. chrono trigger and final fantasies for snes were the post expensive at like $30-55 each (prices fluctuated each month)

It’s not totally unbelievable if you a lot of knowledge, had a quick glimpse and were told he was offered $700 from the game store. He should probably show the Facebook conversation with blurred out important details though, just to dispel any doubts.

So in the short video I was sent, he briefly went through maybe 1/4th of the box, and in that 1/4th I saw already close to $600 in value. I figured it would be a safe bet with the $1000 offer. Plus, with the information of the game store offering $700, I figured they offered half of the value of the lot. Thanks!
