Well ruby is a semi tank. She needs at least 1 lifesteal item to sustain longer, but if enemy has anti-regen then she lost half of her tank potential.

In most fight against "real tank", a tank Ruby would be dead before her team can get into enemy's damage dealer, I doubt her team can easily get into late game. If she got another tanky hero as a partner to sustain then it's all good. Depends on both team compostion she can be used as a tank but in most cases against current meta, she can't be the only one who tank.

the kadita should be the one tanking since no one did, secondly he wasnt the last pick(kadita was) he was the second pick (if you rewatch at 0:5 ), lastly he only said "We picked no tank" after everyone finished locking their heroes.
