Blue Crabs, in this video we'll be crabbing on the East Coast of Florida using ring style traps, handlines and chicken for bait. Waiting for the tide to come in we started off catching mostly small blue crabs but after the tide came up some we started catching some good size Blue Crabs, then it happened an alligator grabbed the chicken leg on one of our handlines. The handlines were tied to stakes and the mangroves. While we were waiting for the gator to move away he bit off two other handlines so that ended our crabbing for the day. Catch and Cook #bluecrabs #catchingbluecrabs #cookingbluecrabs #alligators

Joyce gets the prize for the biggest catch of the day!! I don't think he will fit in your steamer Joyce, but you guys ended up with a very nice mess of crabs. You all have got me ready to move to FL and I would in a heartbeat if I could afford to move. I am dead serious about wanting to move. Nothing close to crabs except crawfish in the mountains of East Tennessee. Thank you guys for all the great videos and stay safe.

New subscriber here. I love seafood and there is nothing better than to catch and cook your own. I am retired and told my wife that if we lived on the Gulf Coast I would either go fishing, shrimping or crabbing every day! But, unfortunately I live in central Arkansas a good 8 hour drive from Galveston or Port Arthur. We love to go visit our relatives in the Houston - Galveston area. We usually go in early November, tourist season is over, and our various relatives have several beach houses that we can stay in for free! But when we go, I get the relatives to take us to their favorite seafood restaurants and I pay in exchange for the free stay! I do love fresh seafood! Shrimp, crab and oysters are the BEST!

Your vid reminded me of my younger days crabbing on the tributaries of the conn. river at the long Island sound. If the flats weren't biting then we'd go inland and fish for crabs the same way you did this day. Oh boy I could smell that boil all the way over here in the Tampa area. Thanks for the memories of my youth! I'm 73 now and havn't crabbed in years but I wish i was!

I know that place very well. I always watch my back and front and sideways for them gators. I tell people not to let their kids in the water. But they look at me crazy.

That was too funny when that Gator got that line I bet you somebody's going down there and feeding it that's why it's there and it knows about the chicken that or somebody's crabbing down there besides y'all and leaving their crab lines out there when they're done so now the gator has a taste for chicken

You two are amazing. I wanted to see what Joyce was going to do to cook the alligator. Alligator sauce picant. The crabs looked amazing but the homemade rolls were fabulous looking. Stay safe guys

The 2 you got together. Looked like a doubler. Male hanging on to a in-mature female. Waiting for her shed her shell then he will mate with her.
