How to place Mercedes Benz automatic transmission in neutral

You can have your car off to put it in neutral. Click park when car is turned off. Then go up (like your going to reverse) until it goes into neutral. Sometimes you have to mess with it a bit.

None of this works with a dead battery. Either jump start it, start it with a help of power bank starter or borrow another battery from someone, take the dead one out and place the borrowed one. I dont know how would you set an electronic gearbox in neutral. Electronic means u need to have power

hello i have broken my oil pan and mercedes is out of the oil i cant start it couse no oil but car has put himself in P (parking) and it wont change to neutral so i can roll it on the tow truck... is there a way that i can change it in neutral

I've been going through hell because of arcane BS like this with my Sprinter. Insane that they don't make it easier, or at least well documented, how to put a Sprinter into neutral to be towed if it can't be started. Their service is incomprehensibly horrible and their roadside assistance is criminally bad. I will never buy another Mercedes.

I have questions...can you put these new mercedes cars(by ,,new" i mean the ones that have the gear selector UP on the steering wheel console)...so to the questions...can you put it in neutral if it is moving...if you do get failing in the gas pedal or a diesel runaway...are you gonna be able to put it in N position while driving, so you can stop the car?
