What I don’t understand is how JLR quality lags the competition when all modern factories use the same robots to build their cars. It’s not like one company does things so much differently. It’s also weird since they all pretty much use the exact same suppliers for everything from gearboxes to axles to ECMs, etc. What the hell is it about British cars that make them impossibly unreliable?

it's all aluminum, I know it's to make it lighter and more fuel efficient, however it makes it vulnerable to dents, I always have to park mine way from other vehicles, or look for bigger parking spots, however fun to drive, it's in the league of it's own, very comfortable

@@RatnimV My name isn't Barry but I have a '13 Evoque I got new and now has near 90K miles. Never any serious issues. I had to replace a mass air flow sensor and a rear axle seal but other than that nothing major at all aside from routine maintenance. I just had all the fluids changed including rear differential and transmission, new brake fluid and will be upgrading the brake rotors and pads next (rear pads are shot). Should be good to go for another 90K miles. Best vehicle I've ever owned so I go above and beyond to take care of it. Looks and drives like new.
