It strikes me as very odd. I know the A4's practically inside and out (shared corridor tender) and I believe the only realistic application would be a very dim clear LED to simulate the natural light passing through the corridor

Can OO gauge Trains run on Ho scale track?

yes, the only difference is Ho Locos and rolling stock are smaller and more realistic, oo is slightly bigger but both run on the same track.
