It's not dangerous or anything, but I'm warning you, even that tiny amount of laser engraved sugar will flavor your entire item like absolute dogshit. Perhaps some better research on the products you show would go a long way. One is no longer funding and is supposedly refunding contributors, i.e the product cannot be purchased. Wouldnt encourage everyone to run and grab a weapon (a gun I assume) every time you hear a scary noise, sounds like such a sad existence and will get someone, likely the home inhabitants, killed or seriously injured. It is probably easier (and less dangerous/stressful) to just set up your house with proper security measures at point of entry and have proper escape tactics.
