indian army needs new equipment and training after seeing this movie it looks like out of many reasons he fell in war was because his equipment was not upto mark to meet with close or semi close combat and the platoon reaction to his field charges on the ground was slower than expected not sure if this is true on the ground but in this movie it’s the impression viewers get!

And as for the platoon charges. Fighting constantly for days on the height of 17,000 feet, the most highest ranges of mountain in the whole damn world. Lack of oxygen, downhill disadvantage, being ambushed, No time to rest, No time to eat, as the Pakistani reinforcements were about to March. It gets tough but it was the bravery of Fallen Captain Vikram Batra that he rushed to front to save the shot soldier, the platoon had to hold their positions, provide cover fire but the death of their captain gave them strength and courage to frontal charge and get over it. Adrenaline rush in simple words.
