A lot has happened in the novel, rn the novel is one of the best (if not the best) in japan I won't spoil anything but let me say this, he grew up without love and affection, he also has no friend so he saw humans as equal tools, he started to changing because of the best girl of the series Btw ayanokoji and the "real" main heroine ranks 1 in most favorite male and female character this year and last year in konorano (the biggest LN magazine)

@@nguyennguyen2409 So you can read in in this website\app called wattpad. Start with volume 4. But then you need to go to another website for volume 4.5 and 5 because wattpad doesn't have all the chapters for them. For those 2 volumes write pastebin madbunny in google click the first one and they should be there. After you finished those 2 go back to wattpad and read the rest there. Rember there is volume 7.5 and 11. 5so don't skip them. After you finish vol 11.5, you read year 2volume 1 which is the second year arc. I'm still waiting for all of the chapters year 2 volume 2 to come out in watpad since it recently came out and will take a long time to be translated. If you can't find one of the volumes then tell me.

felix levasseur It wouldn't possibly change into a romance one for a while even if the English LN sales make up for the poor Blu-ray sales. Even if they go through about 3 volumes with a season 2 we would likely be brought to the end of volume 6. As of then there isn't yet (to my knowledge) confirmation of Ayanokouji having feeling for Karuizawa Kei.
