​@gladiefire694 😅 the crazed giggling twirling Princess (green dress) threatened his seemingly also evil 😈 Mom to set up the wife (or be ruined/death), so the son would be obligated to kill her and then be married to the giggling sociopath. 🤔 He's more weak & complicit than evil. He really should have just killed her 🤨🙄 but then his possibly evil dependants would also be killed.. possibly everyone in their house too. Plus story would end there 😅

Today i complete this drama and came here to tell that it is more than a masterpiece I was never bored during this drama . Every scene is well written to the end and the story of jiang li and duke su is so heartwarming This is the drama where the female lead is mentally and physically strong. I have watched all 40 episodes. This rates as one of the best I have seen and is a sure fire hit of 2024. With all the elements of drama, intrigue, mystery, revenge, romance and Palace escapades with strong, smart characters that make for an exciting watch. The script and acting is excellent. A must watch drama , a culinary historical beautiful thrilling story . She indeed worked with chinese Industry pillars ..she maybe considered as one .. That's one of the reasons why she is picky in her choices ; she has a reputation to keep ! The cast is lucky to have her around . Even though, the role here is way easier than the previous ones.
