I know a lot of young women are probably watching this, so I just wanna tell you something: good guys do not bully girls to show that they like them. Do you see how the other guys who liked her were nice and concerned for her? Do not accept a guy bullying or being mean to you as an excuse for him showing interest. Accepting this and saying that it’s normal, allows guys like that to remain emotionally constipated and never express themselves because certain people will just give them a pass anyways. All of you deserve someone nice. I’m not saying that this is a bad show, just that for real life situation, this behavior is unacceptable.

Guys, if you're watching this video please understand that acting like the main protagonist doesn't get you the girl (unless she has the self esteem of a doormat), but acting kind like the other guy might. So please refrain from bullying people altogether. I mean in this series it kind of worked because that's where the character starts and then he grows. It's about character growth, but in real life very few people change like that. Trust me, I'm speaking from experience as a survivor of narcissistic abuse.

He doesn't bully her. He just let her be and doesn't smother her. You gotta watch it to know. He is actually a genius and very abrupt in his decisions and actions to everyone. Actually *she* is the one who eventually softens him but it took a trip to hell and back. Her character is so strong and steadfast, you end up respecting her more. ❤

Both of them take that trip to hell though. She chose him because he lets her be, unlike her parents who were the real bullies actually. This is one drama where both the leads have eyes only for each other with no love triangles and quadrangles.

@@kanaka7552 yup, that's why I like this Cdrama the best of all Cdrama's I've watched. There's no serious love triangle because from the start you know that they only have eyes for each other. No one can also stop their love for each other, not her parents, his circumstances nor the people around them. That's pure love I see there... Some are saying he's bullying her, but for me he's actually just making her stronger, not trying to baby her as she's already been treated like a princess by her parents, he wants her to be able to stand up for herself and let her do whatever she wants... I love their chemistry and I love this series so much! Still watching this every after 6mos 😂

Those saying he is toxic should watch the series. He has a complicated past and until he met her he actually did not know how to love and be loved. I totally recommend their story. It is about growth, unconditional love and also learning from the mistakes.

Even though he has the tsundere vibe, I actually really loved his character because he felt more real and complex than a typical tsundere. The characters are complex and true to themselves. This went into my top Asian dramas list. Highly recommend. I loved it so much. I was completely swept up in the relationships, the story, the dynamics between characters, the character arcs etc.

He isn't rude or behaving badly with the girl. See he even told her not to drink that cold drink and offered her water. He is rude to her in the earlier episodes because they have a rivalry and he misunderstands her but here he makes it clear that he is interested without harming or saying bad words to the girl. What you people think rudeness is in fact pride and confidence that this character is known for.

I don't think He was "bullying" her like I've watched meteor garden and other C dramas that had bullying which is something serious. This guy got a sad sad past and he is pretty sane, he cared for her and never hurt her... I liked him because he was thr for her like she was... Mind you, this character lost his parents at a young age so whatever he learned was from his surroundings so I think they put up a pretty good character...

Dia tu ga bully, cuma kalau di real life menurut gw dia tu lumayan redflag. Sifat kasarnya bisa ditolerir soalnya ni anak hidup dalam tekanan selama bertahun2, jadi itu bentuk dari self defense dia, tapi kalau di real life, org kayak gini bakal dijauhin terus, siapa yg mau punya relasi sama org yg sifatnya kasar hampir tiap hari? When I was in junior high. It was a guy use to bully me. Some 25 years later. I found out why from him. He said he liked me. I told him he really didn't know how him bullying me in school affected me. He ended up going to prison he told me he had a bad situation at home when he was growing up. I like how she's the only one who can really control him... He genuinely listens to her and he is willing to do anything for her... He supports her decisions, he's even willing for them to be on a long distance relationship when her mom wants her to study abroad... I want to say for those people who say that he is toxic or bad whatever.....they donot understand the series actually....... He is a very emotional and caring in nature,so after losing his mother he breaks down and make youself hard from outside..... doesn't want to be attached with anyone cause he can't accept their pain. As he has enemies who becomes enemy out of jealousy that they are less talented than him so they want to defeat him by hurting him emotionally. Often such weak people choose this path to win but can't. He always say the girl to stay away from him from the very beginning......but she does not want to. She recognises the potential and his soft heart inside......so continuously stays close to him....then sometimes he teases her but never bullys her..... because he also likes but does want to involve because of past experience. Inspite of his cold behaviour he always nice to her for which other girls are jealous to her. When he comfirms that she never lose his side whatever he says or does....then he cannot control his feelings and starts shows his feelings too......otherwise he always stays alone and works for his goal. This kind of boy should be loved and deserves love so she loves him endlessly . Intact at the end he forgives Gao too that's the proof that he has a big heart. He doesn't harm anybody without reason.....he has no dirt in his heart......but though they're suffered and people misunderstood as like you people...that is sad

I totally get it! He was ego driven in this clip, right? Anyway, I don't know if you've seen the series (I haven't yet), but from what I understood she starts standing up for herself and calls him out on his behaviour which makes him change. Se yeah, I guess the jerk mode works in here because this is where the character starts his growth.

I like the drama but i hate that the ml is so arrogant to the point that he didn't respect even the girl's parent. I can tolerate if his arrogant to everyone but he never gives in to anyone. He is too domineering to the point of being reckless

I don’t care what everyone says. I love Li Xun!!! Something I have never felt for any male lead in c-dramas. LI XUN is worth fighting for and I’m so glad Zhu Yun did! They are so perfect for each other. This is the only show that I equally love the male and female lead. It’s because if I were Zhu Yun, I’d do the same. It’s us against all odds. I repeat, he is worth it. Definitely one of my best cdramas. And the best in modern! my #1 along with Hidden Love. 🫶🏻

If you can't know the difference between a drama and real life, just don't watch it at the first place and stop blaming the drama as if it's its fault because you're just too kind of delusional for saying he will beat his wife or kill his family 💀 And the male lead didn't even bully the femalw lead, more like teasing her

@@pochacco.8013 well this is being marketed as bully to lover trope lol I also like enemies to lovers but not this. like I said it's not my cup of tea, but if u like this then who am I to stop you lol and yes I am not gonna watch this because it hits close to home, I know some men who acted like this and ends up physically abusing their girlfriends/wives. there's also statistics backing this up if u look it up. I also know how to distinguish drama from reality, but romanticizing bullying and glorifying toxic men is not my thing. anyways, there's other dramas worth watching byeeee

Дело еще в возрасте. Классический случай - мальчик дергает за косичку понравившуюся ему девочку, чтобы привлечь ее внимание. Главное, чтобы этот процесс не затянулся во взрослую жизнь. А в этом фильме, справедливости ради, надо сказать, что парень девушку не запугивал, а посмеивался над ней. Я бы такого парня в юности не выбрала. Еще бы и сама его на смех подняла . Да так, что на всю жизнь бы запомнил. Но сейчас понимаю, что совершенно не важно, что мужчина ГОВОРИТ. Важно только то, что он ДЕЛАЕТ. Говорить мужчины все горазды.

If I may add from real life experience (my own and that of those around me), only emotionally immature people bully someone they like because, just as children, they don't have the mechanisms to regulate their own emotions (e.g. toddlers throw tantrums when they don't feel well because their communication skills are poor). If you've seen this series, maybe you've noticed that as he grows emotionally he starts to open up and comunicate instead of bully. Basically she helped him mature emotionally. Sadly however, in the majority of cases when someone is immature like that it's because of trauma usually suffered during childhood and most trauma cases need specialised help in order to be healed. If you have questions or would like to learn more just ask and I'll answer as best as I can. I hope this comment helps as many people as possible toward healthy relationships. 😌
