[Love is Panacea 治愈系恋人] When Gu Yunzheng, an associate professor of neurosurgery, goes on a medical aid mission in Lacaya, he meets Su Wei'an, a "deserter" who has abandoned her medical career to become a businessperson. From bickering all the time to falling in love with each other, he gradually discovers that all her abnormal behavior is caused by a genetic disease called Huntington's disease. I can't even dislike the general😭 Also speaks a lot that he had Eliot and his soldier worrying about him instead of taking that perfect chance to kill him off. The scene where the General and FL got drank cracked me up. Plot twist of General and Doc Eliot speaking fluent Chinese and not sounding cringe was a pleasant surprise.

I’m the soldier acting as the general assistant, those scenes were taken in two different cities in China. The surgery part was in Chengdu, the general recovering part was in Hainan. 👍

Plot is ... very wild and unconvincing. I do not enjoy such forced scenes -- rigged for high drama, but incalculably beyond logic or reason. Such forcing of the plot by the scriptwriter reduces the quality of the drama, in my opinion.

Agreed. The script sucks. The hospital releases patient records willy nilly to complete strangers. People who are not medical professionals regularly chimes in on medical procedures. If it isn't because Luo Yunxi is in it and I'm waiting for his new drama, I would drop this one.
