this is exactly what I am trying to explain with my friends about the difference of those two MG Versions. I have seen all the versions in Taiwan, Korea, and even Japan and read even the manga version. Yes, the 1st MG2001 is indeed phenomenon, but we are now in 2018. They have to exceed the expectation of the Millennials and even the viewers and fans of the 1st MG.. In all fairness to the cast of MG2018, they met all my expectation knowing that I am MG fan since the Taiwan version. Been rooting for Hua Ze Lei in all versions but this time, had a change of heart and loving DaoMingSi/Dylan Wang so much. The wardrobe and clothes are always on point. They emphasize the power and the possessions of DaoMing Family. Dylan Wang is just 19 Years Old which is perfect for his character of being a college bully and a spoiled one. Shenyue is also perfect for her character as Shancai for her wit and bubbly personality. I watched the old version of MG and I can say that the latest version is the BEST VERSION SO FAR for me.

王鹤棣整个人的感觉，虽然肢体和表情还有点问题不太大方，但是他本色和道明寺的性格就很像了，跋扈但又善良，像个小孩子。严加训练的话，非常期待。梁靖康演美作西门都ok，虽说他性格也很符合花泽类但长相属于盐系，不够花美男和精致是个问题，容易惹争议，西门美作很适合他发挥。

Wang he di’s charisma is extraordinary. His perseverance was shown here that why Miss Chai seen it the first time he saw didi. And she didn’t regrets her decision choosing wang he di as the dao ming si... didi really deserve it. Kudos to Ms Chai... and partnering with Shen Yue makes MG 2018 is the best remake of all... hoping for MG season 2 or more dramas for dylan wang with shen yue...
