There are different "levels" of spicy hotpot in ChongQing. For example, mildly Spicy, moderately spicy and very spicy. I recommend to try the mildly one first . It's already very spicy. And some restaurants have Double-Flavor Pot for people that can't handle spicy food.

说起来对重庆我也深有感情，我这个六零后可能跟肖战的父母是同辈人，1965至1678年整个十三年都在重庆江北区居住，重庆的饮食习惯一直影响至今。后来随父母工作调动到广州，出国这么多年一直想带父母故地重游，希望疫情结束能去重庆，和当地人说说重庆话，重走儿时路。😌
