Thank you for this reaction, i really love this performance. She sings here on the radio, there are only 3 people who see her, and despite that, she sings as if there were 10,000 people in front of her, all this passion is incredible.

Hi Roskoe I just love this song so mutch ❤ Thank you for the shout out ❤ Ta Peine means your sorrow The 26/2-24 Lara released her official video to this beautiful song ❤ Lara Fabian - Ta peine (Clip officiel) kzbin.info/www/bejne/rXe8qKd_gZ5orc0 Eric sicard has translated the song to Englich English translation: Your Sorrow ------ Turn, turn, wheel of time That time I used to have Before I loved you and lost ourselves Before life became a bitch. Stay, stay near me, I do need you. You, who like a magician takes me To a world where everything isn't the same anymore. Same, same, it's always the same With sorrow: It takes all available space, but we get used to it And happinness slowly fades away to make way. Give me your sorrow, your sorrow, your sorrow, You know I'll crush it into crumbs, your sorrow, your sorrow, And I'll throw it at the sea, my Captain, We'll be like two children who reminisce Leave, leave for where your heart feels right, Leave but above all, come back after. You can rest your hand in mine, And I'll go dancing across the sorrow fields. Nothing's finished betwreen us, I have the strength of a fool And may this devil you love die, She doesn't know a thing about who you are Same, same, it's always the same With sorrow: It takes all available space, but we get used to it And happinness slowly fades away to make way. Give me your sorrow, your sorrow, your sorrow, You know I'll crush it into crumbs, your sorrow, your sorrow, And I'll throw it at the sea, my Captain, We'll be like two children who reminisce And nothing will be the same, same, same, There will be no sorrow when you wake up If only I were the magician Who heal reminiscent children, And nothing will be the same, same, same, There will be no sorrow when you wake up If only I were the magician Who heal reminiscent children. Thank you Eric (hope it is OK I use your transation) Love Lara ❤ Love from Denmark ❤

Hey Roskoe. I enjoyed this song and the emotion she always brings. I read the English lyrics and they are profound. Especially the part that says give me your sorrow, you know I'll crush it into crumbs, and I'll throw it at the sea, my captain. It is as if she is telling someone give me your pain do not wear it alone.

Yes, here is my own interpretation: Her husband got homesick and a bit depressed, main reason they sold their home in Quebec and moved to their sicilian home (he is from there). This is a song about someone who wants to share and offload her companion from his current depressive state of mind in order to get over it and find an happier common place in life. The music video was just released yesterday, it’s beautiful and it ends with Lara and her husband walking together on a sicilian beach under a bright sun 😊 His husband is a magician, stopped to perform himself (architecting tricks and shows for other magicians) just to support Lara better, which also impacted him, and now he is back at preparing some new shows of his own. You see some implicit reference to him in the song.
