We were staying at this old house and upstairs there was this really big long closet and the dog immediately went to it and kept barking into it as if something were there even though it was completely empty. We finally had to pull him away and take him downstairs. In the middle of that first night, one of my relatives was sleeping in one of the upstairs rooms and the lights kept going on and off. The next day we noticed the dog wouldn't go upstairs, not even go near the stairs. Years later, a cousin of mine who was around 10 at the time this happened, said she saw a funny red man sitting in front of one of the upstairs windows but was too scared to say anything. Kids and dogs have perceptions to the supernatural.

My family rented an old house that used to be a schoolhouse. This was during my 7th and half of 8th grade year. During the walkthrough tour of the place the owner pointed at a door in a basement bedroom and casually said "oh, and there is the poltergeist room". Now my family had previous experiences at multiple houses so my dad asks for immediate clarification. The owner opens the door and shows an old underground cellar with shelves for canning/pickling jars etc and says the first night they owned the house there were noises coming from the closet. They assumed raccoons or other animals as the house had been vacant for a bit before they had moved in. But they swore that was the only time that had happened and they just jokingly referred to it as the poltergeist room. Parents end up taking the place and take that room as theirs. As we have no plans for the room, and maybe because they were creeped out in general, they put my moms giant dresser and mirror combo in front of the door, COMPLETELY covering it. Fast forward about a year. Dad has a trucking job and is out of the house. Mom has an early factory job about 30 minutes away and leaves between 4 and 430 every morning. My older brother, his wife, and their young daughter are visiting from Michigan. The couple have my other brother's room, hes in my room with me, and Sarah (my niece) sleeps with my mom since my dad is on the road. Mom wakes me up just before she leaves and asks me to go downstairs and sleep with Sarah so she's not alone. I stumble down half asleep and pass right out. Next thing I know Sarah is shaking me awake and telling me she had a bad dream. I mumble something like oh yeah, what about. She says "the boogeyman was trying to get me. He came from that door over there" and points right at where the door to the poltergeist room is, still completely hidden behind my moms dresser. Needless to say I picked her up and got the hell out of that room. We went back to my room where my brother was still asleep and crashed in there with Sarah in the middle. One of the creepiest moments of my life.

@@chrislilly660 Thanks for telling your story. I really don’t like how many people treat the paranormal as something absolutely impossible because they end up resorting to calling us liars or delusional. People even get rude about it, that just shows our testimony is attacking their naturalist worldview. I get that the girl having that dream could have been nothing paranormal but that does not mean it wasn’t. I have had paranormal experiences that are 100% unexplainable within a naturalist paradigm, witnessed while fully lucid and sometimes with other people with me, so have countless other people, so I don’t doubt the girl in your story really did get her dream affected by something residual or an ungodly spirit.

My paranormal experience was the evening my father died, he came to me (in what I still think is a dream, but I've been told spirits can enter your dreams)...I couldn't move, he sat at my bed, told me he loved me and that he had to go now but we'll see each other again. Make him proud. .......The next day, my sister called that Dad wasn't answering his phone they were supposed to go shopping that day as my father needed a ride. About an hour later, she called back telling me that Dad was gone. A bit after his death, we found out that he died of a heart attack the evening before. 1994, I was only 15.

He had visitations/visions of "the devil" every night and if he closed his eyes he could still see him/it; and it said "I'm going to keep f*cking with you till you die". That guy's dead now, died aged 32. (He once showed me some pictures of what he saw, I felt really sorry for him after that! Great reaction! I had one experience at an old plantation house here in Charleston, SC in 1999 or so. I had been living in Charleston for a year after joining the Air Force, and my sister and mom came to visit. I took them to Drayton Hall to take a tour - beautiful plantation property. They've kept the house original, but it was unfurnished inside. It was a warm, calm late spring day so it was perfect for our visit. Touring the house with a guide and a group of about 15 people, we entered a yellow room on he first floor. I was standing near the back of the group with my family near the exterior wall. Mind you the windows were closed and there was no draft at the time. While the guide was speaking about the room and what it was used for in the 1700s, I started to notice I was being gently pushed from my right shoulder, causing me to physically sway to my left over and over. I consciously acknowledged the pressure and tried to lean against it, but it was still happening. I took note that the nearest person was about 8 feet away and, again, there was no breeze or draft. I wasn't scared at the time, but thought it was really odd. I told my mom and sister as we exited the house, and they kind of were quietly freaking out. After the tour, we were all in the gift shop away from the house, and I went up to our guide. I nonchalantly asked if there had been any reports of odd things happening in the house. She then went on to say, "well some people say they have had weird feelings in the yellow room and even heard walking down the staircase while they were alone." I then went on to tell her what I had just experienced. She found it interesting, but not surprising. Nothing has happened to me since.

What an awesome reaction and that you watched the movie! I would think if I somehow watched along on a few reactions, it would make it less intense along the way. Then I realize with your generous full screen setup and had to pause 5 minutes/10 minutes in already, and mid-reaction, I’m all, oh wait, we’re really doing this (??) and first time did the hand cover the screen, eyes averted! All that within the alloted reaction video minutes. And it became an experience more than just a fun watch-along with “oh cool, a reaction!” 🤠 hats off to You, Me & The Movies!

Man, I think is horrible you had to sleep in a basement 😱😱 I don't think I could have handled that situation very well. My favorite part of your reaction videos is when the little girl walks in all quiet, like, nothing to see here 🤣🤣 I love her

I'll be 31 next month and I still get those feelings like something is around me especially when walking out of a room alone or going up the stairs and I often think I see a figure out of my peripheral vision.

Much like your Mrs. I happen to believe in ghosts (not so much in demons, but definitely in ghosts). I happened to have grown up in a haunted house so I have first hand experience dealing with restless spirits. Thankfully the ghosts that dwell in my mom's house aren't malicious. They just like to pop up and say "Hello" every once in a while. Some of the encounters I've either had myself or have been told about by family members are: 1) Much like your wife, whenever I went into the basement I would always feel like someone was watching me. This feeling continued right up into adulthood, so I don't think that it was "just my imagination". 2) The floors in my mom's house were always very creaky. You could tell exactly where in the house someone was just by the sound the floor made. One night I was home alone doing my homework in the living room when I heard someone walking out of my parents' bedroom and down the hall towards the living room. I turned around to look to see who's there, and the noises stopped. Then when I turned back around to do my homework the squeaking footsteps started again. I would stop and look, the footsteps would stop, I would go back to my homework, and the footsteps would start again. The squeaking footsteps went down the hall towards the living room, turned and went into the kitchen, and through the kitchen towards the stove. I was so freaked out I put my homework away, turned on the TV, and cranked up the volume. 3) When I was little I was playing in the basement rec room right under the basement window that looked out into the backyard. As I was playing with my toys (I think I was playing with my Hot Wheels cars) I saw the shadows of three people walking past the window. Curious about who was in my backyard, I ran out the basement door and into the backyard . . . only to find that there was no one there. 4) This one is my sister's story. My sister and her (at that time) new husband were renovating my mom's basement into a rentable basement suite. They were turning my dad's old workshop into a nursery for my niece (my sister was pregnant at this time). My BIL was painting the walls or something, and he had an A-Frame step ladder set up in the middle of the room. My sister walked into the room with her husband's lunch when suddenly the ladder slid about a foot across the floor all on its own, with neither of them close enough to have touched it. BIL was surprised and said "Did you just see that?!" My sister, who had grown up in the house and was used to this kind of stuff just said, "Oh yeah, that's just the ghost. Here's your lunch." 5) Another sister story. This one takes place after the basement is fully renovated. My sister and her family were renting the basement suite from Mom. The four of them (BIL, Sister, Nephew, and Niece) went out for the day. My nephew was about three years old at this time, and I don't think that my niece was even a year old yet (nephew was born out of wedlock from a previous relationship and in BIL's stepson now). Being only three, Nephew didn't like to clean his room and it was a complete mess when they left. When they returned, BIL thought he saw Mom downstairs in their suite. When they went downstairs, they found that the hallway door which leads to the bedrooms was closed, even though they had left it open when they went out. They went into the bedrooms, and my nephew's room was spotless. His toys were put away, his clothes were in the hamper, his bed was made, his stuffed animals were neatly organized. When Mom got home later that evening they asked her if she had cleaned Nephew's room, and she hadn't. I wasn't home all day, having been spending all that day (and all that night) at a friend's place having a marathon game of Dungeons & Dragons. The room was just mysteriously cleaned. 6) This one is mine AND has witnesses. A couple of days before leaving home to go to Vancouver to study Culinary Arts I was hanging out with my best friend (the friend I was playing D&D with in the last story) and my mom. We were just standing around having a chat. All of a sudden, the TV turned on all by itself. It stayed on for about 5 seconds, and then shut itself back off again. This was a relatively new TV, and the remote was on the coffee table several feet away from any of us. I just shrugged and said "I guess the ghost just wanted to say goodbye". These are the stories that I remember best. My sister has a LOT more. She has one that has to do with a pickle jar (don't think I heard that one) and another that I vaguely remember about her seeing an uncle of ours come into her room, sit on her bed, tell her that he loves her, and then get up and leave, only for her to find out the morning after that that uncle had passed away that night. I hope you enjoyed my stories. And remember, they're all absolutely TRUE. Well the ones that happened directly to me are. The sister that told me the other stories happens to be the same sister that told me that the first Friday The 13th movie was based on a true story (it wasn't), and BIL is now a politician, so you might want to take hers with a grain of salt.
