I’ve been an Elk for years. Went through the “chairs” and was an exalted ruler twice. Always stay at the Elks when traveling. $0-25 is the average. Some have FHU, some only have water or electric. Some have no hook ups. Always greeted like members of that lodge.

One thing that I would recommend to Red Bay visitors is to try the pecan pie and broccoli salad at the Big Star grocery store! O’ so good!! 🙂 Thanks for another great video!

If you are in the Houston area, Lodge 151 has nice campsites and wonderful people. Plus, if you let us know you are coming, second drink is free on us, a kind of Howdy and Shake 2 4 1 !!!

We love Red Bay (and Belmont and Golden). We were there when you were there and agree, it's a great time to go. We had Bay Diesel, Lindsey & Winchester, DC Plumbing, Fowler Detailing and Girard do some work. If you want help scheduling all your work, reach out to Happy Host and they'll take care of everything for you. We stayed at Belmont RV Park, and Trevor is so accommodating and helpful. If you have time to kill during the day, there are several wholesale businesses in Belmont selling all kinds of things.

Hi Stacey and Phil , I have watch most of your video's , really enjoy your trip to Canada . Also your RV gadgets is not too bad , But I have a few tips for u2 ok, I'm not sure what kind of GPS you have , but I really recommend this GPS from Garmin , its a Trucker GPS Garmin has . If you had this your highway travels would be a lot easier , no worries of low bridges or low tunnels , with the truckers Garmin would keep you on the semi truck routes . I just watch Watts on Wheels vedio , he took his RV to get his roof re sealed , all I can say about that is wow , what a good job they did for him . If needed they can replace plywood if needed , fix and any damage if a tree limb hits your roof of your RV .. I have no idea what they charge , but what ever it is , its money well spent . Google Rolling Retreats . And keep there information on file , because someday you might need them . tc u2 thx

We looked at the open roads app and they required a credit card number and the last four digits of a social security number. Definitely not comfortable giving that info for what is purported to be a free app. Also, the research we did showed a transaction fee for using the card. Might still be worth it if you are okay with those conditions but we were not.
@todayissomeday Жыл бұрын
You are correct. But that is because they pay for the purchase ahead of time and then take it from your account as a bank draft. We set up a seperate savings account for our card. It is all we use the account for. So if its ever compromissed they can only take what we leave in that account for fuel. But I understand your hesitation. The transition fee comes from the savings you recieve. So technically it is still free.
