My first love was an older woman, and so was my last one. Jan passed away recently. Having been a gentleman, I had never asked her age. I figured she was about 40 to my 19 at that time. (She freaked out when she found out that she had bedded a teenager! LOL) When I read her obituary, I indeed found out how old she was when we had 'dated'. 48. Never asked, never cared. It was the best 8 years of my life until I had met and married Betty some decades later. My second wife, whose age I didn't know until we went to city hall to get our marriage license. A mere 18 years older than me. I never dated a rich older woman. Not something I cared about. I simply found the ladies interesting, fascinating, and beautiful beyond mere eye sight. Betty passed nearly 10 years ago, and I still have no interest in women my own age. (Never have) My private joke is that now I have to look in the natural history museum for love interests. So to all of the young men tired of the same-age women who hate/despise ALL men. seek out the cougar. You won't regret it.

(School too, but that's a story for another day) Their voices are what got my attention first. (Jan's was British. Mmmm...) They appreciated my mannerisms, my knowledge of the world, past and present, the attention I paid to them, and the likes and dislikes I shared with them, especially music and movies. Basically, it was fairly organic and casual when I asked them to talk over coffee or lunch.

I remember 2002/2003 like it was yesterday, and my buddies and I were all somewhere in our 20s, and one friend who was about 23 or 24 said he was dating a 47 year old. We were kinda horrified, but kinda thought it was cool. From my memory as a young guy, dating a chick 30-36 was hot, even early 40s was hot, but mid or late 40s and definitely 50s seemed up there, almost momish. Especially if the old coot tried to keep up with her hectic night life. Whether a 20 year old guy would want to have a relationship of any type with a 40 year old woman is left up to circumstance, but she'd probably treat him a lot better than a 20 year old girl would. The other difference is that the 20 year old girl only wants what the 40 year old guy can buy for her.
