Matt is SIGNIFICANTLY slower than Jeff, and that's because Jeff's seated bump is his double leg drop to the balls, so he's only falling about 2-3 feet. Matt's seated bump though, is his leg drop from the middle turnbuckle. He gets about 5-6 feet of air on that one. And his spine is clearly fucked from it. Long story short, falling on your ass is just a bad idea, and you should avoid it whenever possible. 😂😂

Jeff almost botched the whisper in the wind, Matt saved him with the kick to make it look like he was the reason he couldn’t find his balance, I loved that. I think it’s something about AEW’s turnbuckles that make it hard for Jeff to stand up straight to actually do the move.

nah nah that was planned usually jeff never does that type of whisper in the wind anymore, where he pulls himself up and balanced his momentum on the top rope then does the flip, he only does that in planned spots where the opponent counters the move..... I watch a lot of his matches 😅

@@zachariahh4471 Jeff doesn’t do that type of whisper in the wind anymore because of his leg injury back in 2015, he also had knee surgery in 2019 but the leg injury was more detrimental. It caused him to be unable to run up the turnbuckles as fast as he used to. At one point he could almost do it with no hands. I don’t even enjoy seeing him do the move anymore because he has to take his time, and the opponent is just standing there waiting. That used to be my favorite move by him. He knows he can’t move at the speed he used to because his knee doesn’t have the strength. That’s why nowadays, when he goes up the ropes too fast his leg gives out and he botches the move almost every time. Just watch any of his matches before 2015, you’ll see what I’m talking about. The only way he can complete the whisper in the wind is if he move slow. It’s sad seeing it but I think he can get the speed back before he’s done for good, might take another surgery though to better repair his knee.

The Hardy Boyz may have lost but they looked really good in this match. People have constantly been harping on Jeff for his past. Everyone deserves chances IF they can prove they are worth it and Jeff at least tonight was looking great. I 🙏pray🙏 that Jeff and Matt can keep this going for a long while.
