Part that stuck out the most was when Dolph talks about why he gives away so much. "Man I remember walking out the house, wishing someone (a big homie or role model) would pull up and give me something....ANYTHING." #STORYOFMYLIFE

Bro I love dolph as much as the next big fan but you would have to be stupid or naive to think he didiny gift things away for publicity and hype dolph was a genius but it wasn’t just because he was being nice he knows how to operate business and the more you think it’s authentic the better the businessman he was
@machiavellisprince598611 ай бұрын
For some reason, what stuck with me was that he said his grandmother didn't want him outside until the sun went DOWN. After 6PM! That's when most of us have to go IN the house. He felt like that was because she didn't want him to get any darker skinned. Maybe he was kidding but if not, I wonder what that does to your thoughts. Then how that teacher let him just stay in her class. I remember all those low expectations and how you have to overcome things that seem like fun and teachers being cool. When really they gave up on you.

Dolph was the Nipsey Hussle of the South as far as being a real boss goes. Building up the community. Setting up his family for life for when he’s gone. If you’re in the position financially to make sure your loved ones are straight for when you’re gone, do it as soon as possible. You never know when your time comes.

been following Dolph and his hustle since 2012. The growth and popularity that he has gained throughout the years is amazing to see. I myself grew up with the very little my family was able to provide for me. I have always been grateful but growing up I always knew I wanted more for myself and my family. Ive always loved to work hard and earn money for myself and ask my family for as little as possible knowing the situation we were in. I started washing cars at my parents house about 7 years ago to make a few extra dollars. Years later I own my own detailing business I employe people and I was able to buy my first home a little over a year ago. I am also able to buy my parents things they never thought they would be able to afford in their lifetime. I am very thankful to where I am today. My end goal is to take care of my parents and sister. I grind very hard everyday because I fear being in the situation I was once in. The reason I am sharing this with you is because Dolph has played a HUGE roll in my life. Between watching his videos and interviews he always motivates me and makes me go get the money on days I don't feel like working. Don't worry about what people think and grind hard and know what you are hustling for! I also enjoy this interview and often come back to it at least 2 times a week. Its sad to see Dolph has left us and his family so soon. Thankfully he was in a position to where him and his family don't have to worry financially. RIP to the KING of Memphis. You will be missed. 🐬💙🐬💙🐬💙🐬💙

man!!! this hurts!!! You made me grind and level up like crazy over the years!! your music is legendary, Raww, and has passion! 1 of 1!! the best thing I can do now is like you said big Dolph "Go Get the money!! ahuuuuhhh!! literally since middle schools All them mixtapes and "welcome to dolph world" but you literally help me level up my situation and mentally all through the power of your music. never met you in person but through your music I was relating a lot. nobody is like you and wont be like you. Humble, respect, king, real grind for your dreams man.. just a great human being and artist. Thank you for being a role model over the years and will always will be. Everyday I play at least one of your songs old or new. That's how talent you were I could always get something positive from it new or old music. You always told us stay out the way. You can always make it independent you just have to grind hard asf for it!! you never bullshit us on the process the process of success. Thank you! Will always be remember!! Praying for your mom, kids, wife, Key, Jay fizzle and your whole family and crew. A REAL LEADER!! Thank you for leaving a blueprint! I know you with me every time I look up and specially when I listen to you. Always felt like you were talking to me and the community to be up and STAY UP!!
