They are a mix of genres, personally love bands/ artists who can't be pinned down to a certain genre and pigeon-holed. Shame is another really cool song from Young Fathers.

Funnily enough, I was wondering recently if you'd like Young Fathers. They're a very eclectic band, mixing up electronic and punk elements with rap and soul. "In My View" is a more melodic song that you might prefer and quite different from this one - it was the first track I heard of theirs and it really caught my ear. Thanks for sharing!

The music video kind of explains the meaning of this song as I believe it was targeting presidents for being childish and calling them "a broken little toy" and a "silly little boy" as the music video portrays presidents as kids throughout the video, sort of mocking them so to say.

Young Fathers are their own genre. They're also the best live band from the UK in the past decade. You didn't pick their best song to review - tracks like Get Up, The Queen Is Dead, Rain or Shine, Still Running, Border Girl, Old Rock & Roll, Come To Life, etc, are better PS. the electronic sounds are a mix of old analogue modulator synths like Moogs/MiniMoogs and modern synths
