I think they should be strung up immediately, if they're 100% sure they have the right person of course. String em up IMMEDIATELY! So all other predators see what will happen. They won't get to sit in prison and eat and sleep and go on living off tax payer money. Nope... They showed their innocent victim no mercy, so they should be shown no mercy too. That's just my opinion. These monsters will only re-offend. Period. So stop them before they victimize another innocent life.

Problem was, he wasn’t a stranger. He played with us in the complex regularly and we knew him to be our “friend”. When the police asked us if we had seen any strangers, of course we said no because he wasn’t a stranger to us. He was “Mr. 😛 man” because we would always blow our tongues at him and he would reciprocate. It never occurred to our 9 and 10-year-old selves that it was not normal for a random young adult to play with a bunch of kids.

Inspector Alain Bouchard is simply an amazing police officer. The care and meticulousness of his on-site investigation is simply amazing. Most police officers would probably have taken a cursory look, especially since nothing was actually stolen, and then shoved off. Imagine a scenario where more police officers would have his work ethic-crime would be virtually impossible to get away with and crime rates would fall quickly. The community being cared for by Inspector Bouchard is incredibly lucky.

@@ssoldie5490 I think life in prison without parole options is a more harsh punishment, because it has to be a living Hell, and at some point they are going to die in prison anyway. Life in prison is a living Hell because they either have to be kept in complete isolation for 'safety' reasons, or if they do end up spending time with others, they are often abused physically for being what they are. And if you are living in isolation at the mercy of the guards, how do you know that they are not peeing in your food every day? Things like this can happen to them.

The reason why it no longer is in place is that there is never a guarantee that a person is guilty. And one person executed in error is one too many. What do you say to the family of the innocent person that is executed? OOPS? Cops talking about public safety. They are often as big a risk to the public. If we rid ourselves of criminals half of them would be in the police force(if laws are enforced fairly). When they murder "I feared for my life" seems to get them off the hook.

I'm not surprised parents may appear guilty in these cases. The often do feel guilty that they took their eyes off their kids, or let them play outside.....it's not the parents fault. It's the monsters among us who are guilty. How many kids - and even adult women, have been abducted from their beds in the middle of the night? I saw a case earlier where a maintenance guy was obsessed with a tenant in an apartment complex and she had turned him down for a date. She already had a boyfriend and had no interest in anyone else. Well he had a key fob to her apartment and he got in and waited for her. He abducted her at 5,30pm in the afternoon, getting her out of her bedroom window and into his vehicle with nobody seeing or hearing anything. He kept her prisoner somewhere and abused her for days and then he killed her. Investigators found her bedroom door barricaded from the inside and the only way out was through her bedroom window. And she had room mates but they weren't home at the time - the killer knew when to make his move. When the cops got inside her room they found a little bit of blood on her pillow case - he must have knocked her out before he dragged her out the window. Anyway, he was caught because of the key fob records in the office. It shows what time he entered her apartment, and how she entered soon after and he was waiting for her....there was no key fob record of either of them leaving through the front door. My point is that we are not even safe in our own homes, day or night.

When the police have a policy to wait hours to investigate the disappearance of a missing child because they don't want to waste resources on a runaway, it uses the same flawed logic as a fire department waiting to put out a fire to ensure that it isn't a case of arson.

7 plus a bit yrs ago, I was homeless. I was forced by welfare to take an apt or lose my benefits. My new landlord was actually a worker for the county social services dept. The apt I was forced to move into had the 1st all female. The 2 ND floor was 5 guys, all convicted sex offenders. Luckily, my kids were all grown, so they knew not to stop by w their kids. But my 2 roommates both had young kids. I warned them to never trust the guys upstairs!!! Luckily, we found better housing very quickly! And yes, there is an elementary school not even 1/4 mile from that apt. This area is crawling w sex offenders!!! The county knows this, but allow it anyway.

In Florida there is a tent community out in the woods by a swamp where a bunch of them live well away from the rest of society. But those are the ones released from jail that are so broke they can't afford to rent apartments. So they live in the woods with mosquitoes, spiders, gators and big snakes.

If not for everyone documenting all unusual behavior, from the dispatcher, to the investigator looking into the "break in" to the rangers calling in a weird, out of place vehicle this would be a cold case. If only all Pedos were locked up and the key thrown away, we would never have another child murder. Sexually motivated crimes are second only to murder. Their punishment should be more severe than they are.

@@toria9799 I agree with you yet find the justice practisioner's reasoning ludicrous. Since criminals got all these rights crime has escalated out of control because there is no real deterrent. Lawyers who argue inadmissability of valid evidence are the worst. To my mind any human being who violates the right to personal safety or right to life of another human being should forfeit their own rights immediately because humans have intelligence which raises us above mere instinct, humans can reason and discern between primally destructive and socially constructive behaviour. Sandra Rice : twenty five years is a very long time, in fact it covers an entire generation and that means that this monster will have to wait that long to start to consider the possibility of parole. Even with all those years in prison, the accused's freedom will depend on a parole board that will decide his/her fait. Please check the Canadian case of Paul Bernardo That been said, still there are cases when very dangerous criminals get paroled long before the end of their sentence and that is wrong either in Canada,England or Australia.

Why doesn't this crime channel exposes the predators pictures?!...When that lil girl disappeared, surrounding her was 60 child molesters...We know most times these men can't be rehabilitated... Within months of release will repeat the same offense.... Another thing that is disturbing, many of them are parole for good behavior even though they was given life sentences.... The communities need to know who are those monsters living amongst us so we can Protect our children.... They judicial system, Judges, parole board officers and all involved,is as much to blame for the deaths of these innocent children and women when they send these murderers back into society....They should be held accountable....
