Young Hot Women Should Date, Not Vote, Says Fox News

"Some of the largest college campuses in the Triangle will not host early voting sites for the fall election.
The state's new election law is the reason.
The law shortens the early voting period by a week while offering the same number of hours. It also says sites must provide both parking and curbside voting.
It's mostly the last requirement that has eliminated early voting at sites on campuses that were used in previous elections.
The issue raised the ire of students and voting advocacy groups, and a lawsuit was brought over the removal of a site from Appalachian State University. On Wednesday, after an N.C. Court of Appeals decision, the State Board of Elections added a voting site at ASU. Minutes later, the state Supreme Court said it was sending the case to the Appeals Court to review. I've also become more liberal as I've gotten older. I started out super conservative.. But I also agree we are the exception and not the rule. I think the older people get, the more they are scared of changing things. Even her comments in the video are about that.. people have families, houses, etc. they become less willing to change because they're afraid of the risk.. even if it's a good idea overall.. but I'm more the opposite.. lib changes mostly don't affect me, so go for it.

I've (probably intentionally) forgotten her name, but I can't understand what could motivate someone to sell out their gender. Especially women, who have fought so hard for equality, and are still fighting. How can someone like this exist? As a man, I can't expect to truly understand what that inequity feels like. But, I'm lucky enough to come from a long line of strong, independent women who have fought for those rights. My Grandmother was one of a small group of women that started the first female labour union in Canada. And they fought very hard and sacrificed a lot to establish it. What kind of sociopath must you be, to disparage everything your mother, grandmother, and other women did just so you might have the same advantages as men? Because she gets further in a "mans world" by agreeing with the notion that "women have different roles." You'd be absolutely shocked how many women say they dislike all other women, because "women are so dumb and crazy." The truth is, when women don't have the ability to secure their own future, they need to compete against other women for a secure future, namely, by locking down a stable man. Women's rights stirred that up immeasurably. When women have the opportunity to provide for themselves they often do quite well, but the old attitudes are still around, that women need men to take care of them.

Kerry P You men experience some social inequalities too. Obviously not on the scale that women do, but as a person who wants complete gender equality I believe there's social biases against men as well that need fixing. Such as the whole "men are stronger and don't get to have emotions" crap, the stereotype that all men are perverted pigs, and especially people thinking that men can't suffer from physical or sexual abuse. I always thought woman finally had equality, but now I know why we are still being so encouraged everywhere. You never hear about men not being allowed to vote, or a stereotype of men going on tinder or match.com. Women are so smart and can do so much. We are meant to be just as smart as men are, and I don't see why that is denied by so many in our world. Some women are even judged harshly when they do something smart, but there's absolutely no reason to be, we have always had the capability to make decisions, we are not just here to accompany the other gender, we are here to be smart and capable of making decisions, but some people make it so hard to reach our full potential. Two myths are being perpetuated in the comments section of this video, 1) young people vote irresponsible, 2) old people are more conservative. Both are not true and research has shown them not to be true. Young people tend to be more passionate and yes, they do have less life experience but that doesn't mean they are any more "uninformed" then your average middle-class voter. Indeed, do you really think that a middle class voter who works all day, may well have a long commute and comes home to kids, a partner, pets has more time to educate themselves in the issues of the day then a college student? Of course they don't! They might know how to pay bills but that doesn't really help them understand foreign policy, national economic policy (why politicians keep saying moronic things like "think of the national budget as your household budget" no, it doesn't work like that), complex military, environmental, education and just other policies. Likewise, it is actually a lie that old people are more conservative. They might be conservative on some issues, usually that of culture, but overall, old people can be more progressive because they know they aren't going to be alive for much longer. So they tend to think more for the future and society at large then their own personal gains. But they can be easily scared and confused, which is what lot of politicians use to their advantage. Ultimately it comes down to people. Some people are just more into informing themselves then others. But democracy does mean that the vote of an idiot is equal to the vote of a genius and that's how it should be because bought the idiot and the genius have to live in the same society/country that will be ruled by the politicians they vote in.
