Young Justice: Dick Grayson's past

I love Robin. I wanted to create a video about him and his parents, but it was a little more challenging then I thought it would be. It was still a lot of fun : )
Oh, and by the way....I KNOW THAT BRUCE IS THE ONE AT THE GRAVE. PLEASE STOP TELLING ME THAT. I WOULD KNOW, BECAUSE I MADE THIS VIDEO. THANK YOU. And also that there are clips from The Batman.

A few weeks after the Graysons were murdered and Bruce Wayne adopts the orphaned dick, then all of a sudden batman starts running around with a kid calling himself Robin. Not that hard for anyone in the circus at that time to figure it out

Dick is witty and funny, so that's what I like about him. Jason is very based on anger, bad tempered, not the biggest fan of him. Tim, he's got a little bit of dicks wit, but he also has a little bit of Jason's strength, so in my opinion Tim is the best robin but to me Nightwing is the badass of all of them

@Rick I don't think theres any company that would go completly without any safety. I know for Cirque Du Soleil they use a harness system instead of a net(It's really subtle so not distracting for the audience but still keeps the flyer safe).

I always kind of wished Teen Titans did an episode like this about Robin's past, even if he didn't directly tell the other titans about it or just mentioned his parents. Especially because you got to know about Cyborg, BB, Raven and Starfire's lives. So I was super happy when YJ did this episode.

Keep in mind that teens titans does not have that style something like that is not what the shoe was about, hell unless you payed attention you wouldn't even know it was dick most people think He was eather Jason or Timm. It won't happen unless we get a story arc around tony succo. YJ may have back story's but keep in mind teen titans followed the comics. Both have advantages and disadvantages

This was almost too sweet that the ringmaster could recognise Dick and yet chose not to question him, simply expressing his pride of how the boy's grown up "well". I think it's sweet how YJ included a bit of Robin's past because it sheds some light for fans who might not know the whole story and it also portrays a scene of vulnerability for Robin. Which i feel is good because this is in contrast to Robin's typical strong characteristics. This kind of reminds viewers that essentially he's still the same circus boy behind the mask, behind the antics and skills, he's still A YOUNG BOY at the end of the day.

Yes the flashbacks are from "the batman", Dick is a Greyson and lost his parents in that Circus. Answering wolfs question Dick Greyson is robin but later on became nightwing. Out came a new robin later on aka Tim. Theres more than one robin

I gotta say, one things that always grinds my gears is superhero shows/movies always rehashing the origin, like we have to watch Batmans parents die every damn time that series gets rebooted. I like that this brings up Dicks backstory while keeping the story relevant to the current ongoing plot.

I'm glad they did it this way. It's like made for people who already know the back story. I don't know if you know this but YJ is like a show for people who already know who is who and what is what with some twists involved. There also isn't much of a back story that is interesting to hear. It show's you his emotions at an age we have never seen before. That's all that is needed.

Each story its a new universe, the previous dc animated universe was one thing, most of the dc animated movies, are another thing, the hollywood movies are another, and even in the comics there are many different realities (post-crisis is one, golden age is another, silver age is another, etc etc). In each and every universe these kind of stuff changes, ages change, past changes and so on. So Nightwing being older than Beast Boy is perfectly normal here.

So I watched a preview of the newest episode with addition scans,it showed a memorial of fallen heroes. In the middle was Robin,so unless it was fake,Jason actually did die in the 5 year period. Im not rubbing it in but I felt it was something you would want to know.
