The Angels in the tank to the left were the last of my Rio Nanay youngsters that I sold a few of months ago. The Koi Angels in the tank to the right are the siblings of the breeding pair. 🤓👍

Another fantastic video Paul, and so good to see the parents caring for their offspring on their first spawning. Were this pair themselves parent raised?

Thanks Derek. Yes they were raised by their parents. You can see them with their parents on the “Koi Angels from fry to maturity” video on the channel 10 months ago. Dad was a standard fin while mum was a VT (the best combination to use).

I always pull eggs out at night because i want them to think other fish ate it and not me taking them 😢 and leaveing like 50% of the eggs for the parents to take care of or atleast try too is best ❤❤

With pairs that I know that are not good parents I pull the eggs about an hour or so after the spawning has finished. Or, as soon as practicable…
