Hmmm, Nana is 💯 right. I’ve been with my husband for 35 years and I tried buying my mother in law and some of his siblings acceptance with gifts but they still didn’t work. My father in law was absolutely in support and only wanted his son’s happiness, there was no female at my traditional marriage because of his mother. We were in our twenties and also live in the Western world, which I was convinced the opponents can’t affect our marriage. It’s been hell till now, my marriage is remote controlled from Ghana after my father in law died. Please ladies, listen to Nana’s advice, you are an outsider and will always remain an outsider. Wish I would have heard such advice before making my decision.

Very true though I'm still young and still not marriage but my mom and dad has been married for more than 30 to 40 years now they can't stay a day without not fighting 😢 everyday they have problem, according to them the beinging of their marriage my grandma dislike my dad, she wasn't supporting their marriage because of that there's no peace between my mom and dad up till now 😢😢😢.

She die exactly a year to her first aniversary and what pains me is that she really suffered with diseases and sicknesses.
