This Bucks team was really loaded. Its a shame they never won a championship. Jordan really played against some elite competition

Normal to see Jordan's brilliance. What struck me was the view of 1980's downtown Chicago at the beginning of the broadcast. Made me realize just how much has been built since. The 80s feel simultaneously not that long ago and ancient history.

Amazing how this Bucks team didn't get to the NBA finals even once in the 80s. Shows how tough it was with the Celtics, Sixers, and later the Pistons.

24:05-24:08 (with the ref literally involved) and still nothing. That is the main dif between the era MJ played in compared to today’s nba. The commentators didn’t get all dramatic and tell the people watching how to feel.They didn’t even acknowledge it.Doug Collins,the Bulls coach (who was on that side of the court) wasn’t clamoring for a tech or whatever and it was his player. It didn’t even get a replay. And I guarantee it wasn’t on any sports show that existed local or otherwise. Also guarantee the media wasn’t asking either player involved about it after the game...or either coach.

they called it slip-through coz it's between 2 defenders... buy you're right, even before the euro step isn't know/invented yet we've been using that move it's just that it isn't called euro step... I'm not surprised that MJ did it first since he was the reason why millions around the world played basketball
@teddyhart291311 ай бұрын
5:45 i know this is the pre-euro step era, but even by the rules of that time, Moncrief only took 2 steps after his last dribble. Why/how was that a travel, other than it just looked awkward for that time period?

Right? And they're not good shooters. They're talking about Lbj's assist when that depends on who is shooting the ball. Converting an assist.
@asdsadasdasdas6214 Жыл бұрын
@@algladyou lebron assist is so overrated he and nash had almost an identical career total assist and LBJ had 1k+ turnover over nash. lebron assist came from him not able to play off-ball, can't do a thing without the ball on his hand.

If Dream Team One with all their players healthy and in their prime were here with MJ it would be a different story!!!! Because with Bird, Magic, Malone, Barkley, Drexler, Ewing, Robinson, Mullin, Scottie, Stockton, and Shaq (in place of Laetner) now Milwaukee will have their hands full!!! It will be very foolish to leave Larry Bird or Magic unguarded so you can double team MJ!!!! And Ewing, Robinson and Shaq will deal with the other teams bigs!!! It's like Magic says "The Dream Team baby ... there is only one!!!" Lol!!!!🤣🤣🤣 I wish I could set up a computer game with this match up - Bucks vs Dream Team One!!!!!
