I absolutely love your reaction! To clear out some points here : Sarah is one year older than Simon but she retake a year because she missed a lot of school due to bullying in their previous high school. That's also part of why they go to Hillerska now and not the same school as Rosh and Ayub (Simon's friends). Also it's not cannon but highly suspected by the fandom that she doesn't like to speak spanish because she already feels like she doesn't fit it by not being preppy or rich enough. So I think that speaking another language, even in her own household, feels like another way to "alienate" herself from other kids at school.

Yeah, car accident deaths are very traumatic. I feel for wille in this episode. My sister passed away in a car accident when she was 16.

The whole footballfield scene wasn't even in the script. Edvin totally improvised. He is an amazing. Omar is multi talented. This was his first acting job. He speakz Spanish, English and Swedish, sings and dances plus he is very sweet and has the looks and he has an amazing friendship with Edvin outside of the acting. This serie is the best so far. We don’t know Simon’s dad’s whole story. I’m guessing he’s an alcoholic and drug addict. He might also be neurodiverse in some way. It usually runs in families and since Sara is neurodiverse, it’s likely that the dad is too.

Yeah, I commented something along these lines in the first reaction video as well. It sounds very much like he’s neurodiverse. My guess is that he might have adhd and bipolar, just based on how they talked about him and the few scenes we see him in

Sara is one year older than Simon. Because of the bullying at their previous school where she felt very isolated and couldn’t focus anymore and probably partly because of her condition she had to repeat the school year. That’s why there in the same grade. 😉

As someone who lives in Sweden, it is not to expensive but it also depends if you live in the big cities or in the countryside. In an apartment or in a house. If you rent it is not so bad I think personally ♥It can be between 400 USD - 700 USD a month and usually electricity and water is included in the rent price but also it depends again of course where you live and how big the appartments are etc ♥

The rent depends on where you live in Sweden. I live in a small 2-bedroom terraced house (built in the 90's, about 10 minutes from the centrum) that is owned by the government, the rent every month is about 800 dollars and electricity 40-100, we don't pay for water. My cousins live in the same small town but in the centrum, in a 3-bedroom terraced house (built 2020) and they pay about 1800 dollars. It varies a lot.

Hi, Venezuelan here, ready to explain the beauty of a person that´s Omar Rudberg, AKA Simon. Both the actor and the character have venezuelan parents and were born on Venezuela but moved to Sweeden very young, so he speaks english, spanish and sweedish. En real life, Omar is a singer and the songs he sings at the church are his. So yeah, the accent you hear is my beautiful subtle venezuelan accent. Por cierto, I didn´t know that you´re from DR. "Wille" is okay. It's the pronunciation. It should sound like 'vill-uh' and not 'vill-ee'.

I say it, “Vill-eh” but I’m not Swedish. I took German in high school, and “w” sounds like “vee” in German. I read a comment elsewhere to say Simon as “sea monster” without the “ster.”

I have a theory that Eric might’ve committed s**cide with his car. He definitely felt lonely and intense pressure and his relationship with Wille goes both ways in them supporting each other. Wille was supposed to come back to spend time with him but he let him know he was staying on campus. Eric could’ve taken that as moving on or outgrowing his close relationship with him. The royal family can cover up a murder and will cover any mistakes or anything that will make them look bad so saying it was just a car accident wouldnt be out of the realm of possibility.

this show does a lot of showing and not telling .... so as much as you listen to the dialogue you have to read the setting and the character's actions and body language ... the fact that he has an eating disorder and possible body dysmorphia is actually brought up/ shown to us a lot ...
