соглашусь, пусть едет, но ведь из того что он говорит, это одни нарративы, которые ему заложили в голову. Мозги промыты, если они конечно были, никакого критического мышления, чистая глупость в глазах.

Hard to convince the youth that the best opportunities are in Russia when even their brightest minds are fleeing the country to escape repression, censorship, and an economy crumbling under sanctions. If the Russian state wants to inspire its youth, it might start by offering a future they don’t need to run from

What a wonderful young man Kirill is. I wish him all the very best. As somebody who lives in Moscow, I feel I should "nuance" some of what he says, however. When he says that the outskirts of Mosow are a better place to live, if he means the Moscow suburbs, they are hardly more peaceful than the city itself, where I live. The have a large amount of "foreign specialists" (as we call them ironically here) from Central Asia with the attendant problems, noise and higher crime rates. And no, the streets are not really safe there at night, especially for women. Also, he is not really correct when he says that in Moscow foreign visitors will be "among natives without foreign people." On the contrary, there are more "foreign specialists" than ever before, hundreds of thousands of them. And Moscuvites are not happy with such developments. This is the truth, like it or not. But I guess foreign visitors won't even notice, so, like Kirill, I encourage anybody reading this from outside Russia to come and pay us a visit. You will be made very welcome.

@@Edelwulf Hi there, Edelwulf. Well the Grifter in Crimea banned me for daring to disagree with him about aspects of Russian life. But, hey, he's not Russian, can't speak a word of Russian, knows next to nothing about Russian history or culture, so of course he knows Russia better than me! Just to add: all those American and British "expat" KZbinrs have banned me for daring to disagree with their "expert" take on my country. It's hilarious! Take care.

@@SvetlanaVladimirova8590 As they say, the grass is always greener on the other side. I think too many young people in Russia sadly idolize the west too much. When in fact most western countries have their own range of similar issues, if not more.. the 90s and 2000s was probably a much better time to move to the west, unfortunately many westernized countries have changed drastically and not entirely for the best.
@SvetlanaVladimirova8590
@SvetlanaVladimirova8590 14 күн бұрын
@@GreenBroccoli100 I agree with you basically, although I think the days when young Russians idolized the West are mostly passed. Western societies are in deep trouble. I lived in London for three years and saw it for myself. Small wonder that many Westerners wish to move to Russia. However, they idolize Russia, usually don't want to hear anything negative about our country - lest it shatter their illusions. And the American and British expat KZbinrs living here are happy to feed those illusions, not out of malice but becaue they themselves live in a sort of bubble, know very little about Russia. Foreigners who say they love Russia should get to know the real Russia, the wonderful side and the not-so-wonderful side. When the really know Russia, then they will be more like me, like Russians, who love our country unconditionally. Always, forever. For all its faults. Take care.
