Muslims, do you struggle with following all the practices taught in Islam? If so, it makes sense... because you can't work your way into heaven, its impossible. You will always fall short. Many Muslim when you ask them do you think you'll go to heaven... their response would be "i don't know, but i hope..." This is understandable, as they are not in control. But i ask you, why is it that when i speak to Christians who call themselves 'saved' they tell me they "know" they will be in heaven, because of "Jesus". Who is Jesus? Once you become Muslim, all your past sins are forgiven and turned into good deeds. One may want to change their name to a name that’s more pleasing to Allah and start the new chapter of their life as fresh person. If one keeps their old name there is no problem as long as their name isn’t degrading or conflicts with Islamic teachings.
