This has gotta be the best lyrical performance I've ever heard from Thug. People always talk shit about how he talks jibberish. Every word in this song is deep... personal... heartfelt. Real Life. Anyone who doesn't appreciate it clearly has a preconceived negative opinion that they can't get past. He beared his soul on this track. I Love it. When he stopped rapping and just TALKED on the track... told the story? Yeah. I knew... he didn't give a fuck about writing something catchy or making it "sound good"... this music was made to release authentic emotion, even if it means sacrificing the pretty cadences. Beautiful art right here, and an amazing way to open up an album.
