Young Thug Prosecutor Wants Judge to Reprimand Defense Attorneys

The attorney for Antonio "Mounk Tounk" Sledge was back on the stand for the second day to discuss the contents of his client's plea agreement. During his cross-examination, the state alleged YSL defense attorneys made improper statements. Prosecutor Adriane Love wanted Judge Paige Reese Whitaker to admonish the attorneys, but Judge Whitaker denied the motions.

The thing that gets me is the way the judge continues to carry the state everyday. She ( the judge) always interrupts the defense when they’re on a roll against the state. She rushes them to finish up when the state takes all day to ask the same questions for hours

The Judge to Love and Fulton: Are you asking (insert legal definition, term, statute, case law) when they have said something that doesn’t fit the situation. Today Ms. Love was extremely loud and agitated with her witness during direct and redirect. The Prosecution says they will have this or that ready and something that had to be turned over to the defense was emailed at 10:30pm to be used for the witness on the stand in the morning. The Judge told the prosecution they need to a refresher on Brady. “A Brady violation occurs when the government fails to disclose evidence materially favorable to the accused. I would 5150 myself if I were on the jury.
