Ken and Sza were talking about masculine and feminine energy. Not gender. It’s an energy. Like Yin-Yang. In Chinese and Indian cultures the combination of these energies are the formula for creation. So why is it so funny or weird when a dude says he is tapping into his feminine energy to find the courage to be more vulnerable.
@Babynate10002 ай бұрын
Exactly....Ying and yang was the theme behind the interview

How are people struggling with simple comprehension, SZA asked him what "Not Like Us" meant as a statement, not the song itself and again, why should Kendrick be out there doing interviews based on what yall want, he won he can do whatever he wants, how many interviews has Drake done since the beef? Kendrick literally said "y'all think my life is rap" The boy does whatever he wants he doesn't pander to his fanbase like Drake, he's not Drake. You guys just want tea, after screaming J. Cole shouldn't have said anything about the beef.

After listening to this when you talk about the feminine energy and then Future. I actually think the Harpers Bazaar was a smart move for Kendrick. People used to always say Drake was popular because he had the women, which was true- I used to stand up for Drake, even saw him live in the early days. But he has been steadily losing the female fans. An interview with a woman in a woman's magazine, shoutouts to female MC's before the album release is smart. I only listened to the Future and Metro project because of Kendrick and a lot of women don't like that kind of hip hop. Before the beef I was debating if I as a black woman should even listen to male rappers anymore and that included baby keem. This has taken quite an interesting turn. How will the women influence this? 🤔

Kendricks main goal is controlling the narrative. If he went for a real interview, the first question would be, have you ever committed DV? Kendrick loves non answers/spiritual explanations, and that would be perceived as dodging the question. It would cause a shit storm of people demanding him answer the question and possibly losing the superbowl spot. So no, he wont do a real interview because it could ruin his momentum. Also, outright denial of DV won't help either. Once society decides you're guilty of something, the truth doesn't matter. Look at all the Jay z and Beyonce conspiracy going on right now.

I like the Rap round table, and i agree SZA during the interview is whack. I dont think she will dive in deep into mindset and things from the battle. But he could have said he wasnt address the beef.

Why is everything centred around the Battle? Kendrick literally told y'all, "Y'all think my life is rap?" Y'all projecting your own opinions on an interview, Kendrick did, why should be talking about a beef that ended months ago? And why should he be sitting with a HipHop platform?
