For a female in the US? You have to be joking. If a woman gets more than half the sentence of a man for the same crime, that would be what is shocking. I was brought up ultra religious. My parents told me that the first person I would give myself to would be my partner for life. They told me that I would not be able to leave this person , and if I did, I would go to Hell. When I was 15, a 25 year old guy forced himself on me. I lost my virginity. He humiliated me because I had no idea why I was bleeding. I dated him and remained subservient to him in order to maintain the word of “God”, and not get sent to Hell. I was scared, and felt that there was no way out… I do not know how it snapped inside me, but one day I told myself that if there is a God, who loves everyone equally,he would not make anyone go through what I was going through I thought I would test my parents beliefs and leave the first person who I was forced to give myself to… (At this point going to Hell would have been the best alternative, so I felt that I had nothing to lose) This person would make me walk to his dorm every day after I got out of highschool and make me go down on him. I hated it and dreaded it and prayed for the school hours to drag on. When I had that moment of myself not caring if I went to Hell, I made a plan. The next day after school, I started the pilgrimage to this person’s dorm to do my daily duties in pleasuring the man I am supposed to be with according to my parents God. I noticed a bakery on the way that was selling gigantic chocolate chip cookies, a dozen for $4 I had $5 so I bought a dozen then proceeded to shove every cookie into my mouth. By the time I got to this jerk offs dorm I was feeling very full and sick. The douche bag opened the door before I could knock, since this was a normal routine. He dragged me into his room, dropped his trousers,(pants), then laid on his bed and told me to go down on him…. I did what he asked and gagged on his pinky sized member causing 12 giant chocolate chip cookies to regurgitate from my stomach. I laughed so hard at the look on his face, then told him that I was breaking up with him and didn’t care about there religious consequences… I still haven’t gone to Hell… But even as brain washed as I was, I never even entertained the thought of ending a life to get out of this relationship. This is why I do not understand this chick who pushed her husband off of a cliff because she didn’t want to be with him but felt she had to Long story sorry

"I had not only lost my dad but I had lost my mum too. My life was changed forever," she said. "I have lost the man that I looked up to and loved. I have lost the man that was always there for me no matter what," she added. She said she still loved her mother but that their relationship would never be the same. "I have lost the woman who always knew how to make me feel better. Yes I know mum is here but she's not the same person I knew," said Ms Potterton. Her husband Tom said he could never forgive Jackson for the pain she had caused his wife. "This did not have to happen. It was a selfish act with no regard to how it may affect those who were close to yourself and David, you could have walked away but you chose not," he added. As he jailed Jackson, Judge Martin Picton said that she had shown "not a shred of remorse" for the killing and had sought to portray her husband as a "monster".” "Whilst there was no doubt, as in any marriage, points of friction that the lockdown would have exacerbated. I have no doubt that he was nothing like the person you have claimed. "You took the life of another human being. That is a terrible thing to do and it represents a burden you and all the other family members will have to bear for the rest of their lives," he said.” “David Jackson's estranged daughter Jane Calverley accused the defendant of being the abuser in the relationship and that her father would never have asked for help because he would have been too proud to admit to being bullied and abused by his wife.”

Finances are usually the main culprit in cases like these. They don't have enough money to start a new life, not enough money to get a new place to live. So they feel trapped because they have nowhere else to go and no help. People reach a breaking point when they feel trapped without help. Where their only option is homelessness and dealing with a person they don't want to be with anymore. It doesn't make it right that these ladies snapped and killed. It sickens me to the core that Cody was betrayed in that way by that empty individual. That thing deserved Life in Prison

The 1st chic...she should have just got an annulment and be alone..she comes off as asexual which is fine..but it cost an innocent man his life ...he wasn't given the chance to start over and find a woman that actually wanted him and build a family

Calling off a wedding when the invitations were sent. It takes guts. But to kill instead of Calling off a wedding? What a choice you had.

Okay..........so.........why did she marry him...and why did she say yes?...................... This is so fucking messed up. She should have left him alone. What a disturbed woman. She deserves to rot in jail, and more......... seriously she should have left him the fuck alone so he can find a real woman who actually loves him. He also knew she wasn't all the way into it ..if other people noticed....he should have noticed...so why would he ask her to marry him. It's so sad.

With the first couple, they never seemed in love, he was but she didn't want to do anything with him, I saw that crime on another crime show, he just kept persisting and he thought that she was special, but she couldn't stand him, but would just go along with everything, then she pushed him off of a CLIFF, not stairs. Where did you get your information, did you research that crime?

Extremely poor sentences are being handed out by extremely poor judicial systems all around the world ! For me, if you take a life, you lose your own. No parole. No time off for good behaviour. Life in jail or death penalty. Easy .

I enjoyed this channel until I found Shrouded hand and realized this is just money for her. The first couple times I heard her say something wrong, I just assumed she researched and couldn't figure out how to pronounce names. But seeing videos and hearing people say their names and she still says it wrong, yeah she just doesn't care. The guy who does Shrouded hand will tell you if something seems far fetched or if he doesn't believe it but you can also tell he did all the research he could before making a video. And if he makes a mistake, he acknowledges it. I still come by just to see if she has gotten better and realize, nope she hasn't. I see it bothers others too. I also see it bothers people that it bothers us and it's still so funny to me that people opinions on someone are so infuriating. I had no idea me thinking her lack of interest and respect for the deceased is awful would make so many adults so mad. Sorry that you'll spend time fuming over it. I won't be back to see your comments but just know, I know you'll be here and I acknowledge you too :)

Judging by her photos, Jordan was motivated to get married by the prospect of a huge feast, and a large wedding cake. Her decision to kill Cody may have been influenced by her desire to eat the last remaining Dorito in the bag he was sharing with her.

Women seem to get way way way shorter sentences for the crimes they committed mean while.a man does the same thing and he has no chance at getting out mean while come lady kills her husband and she gets out inn10 or 20 years absolutely insane I think it shouldn't matter on life circumstances sentencing should depend upon the crime and the crime alone
