@@mosswine5417 you ask most people about Young bloodz and they're response is "Who"? Outside of "Damn" and this song they weren't household names like OutKast or other southern groups they weren't that known outside of die hard music fans especially not the ones local to the state. That ain't just my opinion I grew up and live in Georgia and have traveled places to places. Yeah they were played but did people really know who they were? I doubt it. The South wasn't what it was then like it is now.
@TCES76
@TCES76 Жыл бұрын
@@mosswine5417 my argument wasn't that they were not "Played" it was that just like Migos and 2chainz and all these other southern artists who've earned legendary status at least for Atlanta? Young bloodz are in that first class of Atlanta hip hop hall of fame though a lot of people outside the region may not think much of them or knew just how big they were to us

I think DJ Toomp explained it perfectly in a recent B High interview Cats don't wanna pay $25,000 for a beat when they can pay $25 for a Fruity Loops beat (and we are talking about cats with budgets). Producers like Toomp have great musical ears so they can give that artist advice on their sound that random Joe on their computer posting beats on Soundclick want

No one making music like this now. I realy love this era of southern music. Dangeon Fam, Lil' Jon & The E-side Boyz, Ying Yang Twins, Bone Crusher, T.I., YoungBloodz, Ludacris, Petey Pablo, Trick Daddy, Three 6 Mafia, Mystikal...I was 10 or 11 years old and i'm playing NFS U with all dis tracks by Jon, T.I., Petey etc. Dis music is realy nostalgia for those times. From first half of 00's to infinity...
