Naruto is easily one of the worst anime/manga ever made. Anyone who is actually a fan of this garbage, is an idiot, and a fake anime fan. Instead of watching/reading good series, these morons continue to watch/read garbage. I wish we had more real anime fans with great taste such as myself, but sadly, I am the last of a dying breed. The reason why i hate Naruro 1. A kid main charecter who has done nothing wrong is being bullied by the villagers for long time. Any anime protagonist at this point will make their mindset as such like i don't care about them. I will become strong and will show their places. NARUTO LOGIC: They don't respect me and always bully me for no reason so i will protect them even if it costs my life. So that i can earn some respect. Lame childish dialogue delivery by the mc: "I will protect my friends even if it costs my own life" 2. Main female character: An ordinary looking pink haired girl with no manners only simping for a dude who doesn't give a shit about anyone. Always insulted Naruto for being talentless and stupid. Also made fun of him for being an orphan. Any anime protagonist will start ignoring a girl like that because for him his self respect is above everything. NARUTO LOGIC: He loves sasuke and hates me so i will disguise as sasuke so i can enjoy some romance and if that doesn't work i will continuously protect her with my own life putting at risk so that he will stop disrespecting me. 3. Introducing a badass diligent charecter like rock lee,neji,shino. But making him guffy and stupid and slowy making him a useless side charecter. 4. Hinata, probable the only girl that loves naruto. Making her too much shy, underconfident and weak. 5. Killing of Madara uchiha and Introducing Kaguya.

I remember the reason i gave Naruto a shot was because it was about ninjas that could also produce energy balls etc. Turns out it has absolutely nothing to do with ninjas except the fact that they have a kunai knife as a last resort, and all else is cringe soft magic and summoning gigantic talking fauna. I thought Naruto lost its appeal at volume 11 where there's an ULTRA-hypocritical fight between Naruto and Neji, and the series never acknowledges it as such. The things that Naruto says in that fight are not true at the time and *certainly* are not true going forward. I felt the good ideas were stagnating from volume 11 already. Also Naruto's relationship with Gaara around that time is completely unbelievable, too. The series is bad cause nobody acts like a human being. Also Naruto is unengaging because his abilities bail him out every time. Without his natural and unnatural gifts, he'd be dead several times over as soon as he literally left the gates of his village for the first time. Most of the main characters suck and also make no sense. Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto all suck in different ways and their "bonds" are completely unbelievable. Especially Sasuke. Good lord is he unbearable. The hypocrisy is really the worst thing about the series. Naruto never has to work and is given everything his whole life, and the series still has the guts to treat him as an underdog. It's a lie, and very fake. Also the powers are very uncreative. Ugh, I've had enough.

This video is so funny! Naruto was the first anime I watched it and I really liked it but didn’t finish it. So when I was rewatching Naruto and I didn’t really like it. Naruto and Sasuke were in a team for a few months and then Sasuke left so idk why he was chasing after Sasuke. If anything Shikamaru and Choji were Naruto’s real friends. As a kid I used to LOVE Naruto. I've started reading it somwhere in elementary school, becasue at the back cover of the last Dragonball manga there was an ad for this BRAND NEW NARUTO series. It's crazy how in these years it went from stealth and tactics to Dragonball-like Armageddon Chakra Attacks and "one-man-army" characters. For me that moment durning Kiba vs Naruto fight, when Naruto changed into Akamaru (the moment when our not very bright protag Naruto finally came up with some good plan) will always be infinitely more impresive than that bs Madara vs whole army thing (what is extra funny, because for me Kiba vs Naruto was one of the weakest fights in OG Naruto). For me the last nail in the coffin was that Reanimated Mizukage vs Gaaras army (when Gaara was outaide the battle). This was just pathetic, guy was openly speaking how his illusion works, yet they've been stumbling over their own feet for this whole time. They were supposed to be freaking CHUUNIN AND JONIN. We've got the whole arc in OG Naruto dedicated to the fact, that in order to move up in this world you must be not only strong, but mostly smart, observant and think outaide the box. You mean to tell me that ALL THOSE STUPID LOSERS passed that chuunin exam? It's crazy how if you don't have a Tailed Beast, magical eyes or special blood you are reducted to being nothing in this NINJA WORLD. Kabuto was right to steal those abilities ;/

@Venom Jay I think it falls more under Little Witch Academy,, or stories similar to. (Before Dragonball/Harry Potter.) However, it started off strong then ended up bad. The opposite of Hotoro No Kenshin. (The original) Whereas, that story started of shaky, then towards the end became Shakespearean like. The war arc almost made me throw up. I got tired of hearing the Uchiha legacy, when we never got the Uzumaki legacy. No one but Sasuke from the original characters had any development to even suggest that they were jounin; whom are supposed to know at least 2 nature types (Bare minimum, outside of taijutsu specialists), and if they did know something it wasn't that impressive. Wind Palm? So, I guess the Hyuuga couldn't have anything to be in comparison to the Uchiha after all. It felt like Kishimoto was inspired by the Batman meme: Why can a Uchiha do this, because "I'm Batman." Madara shouldn't have had the Rinnegan techniques without a Rinnegan, but he did. All the rules were retconned for them, and then they had convenient deus ex machinas that made me feel as though they had no risks going into battle. Seriously, is Sasuuno supposed to be invincible? TL;DR I became exhausted seeing the laziness. Or, as the saying goes: "I was sick and tired with being sick and tired," with seeing lackluster chapters. Wish I wasn't so invested at the time.

But you gotta understand that they had a lot of potential for Naruto seriously I love naruto but shit a lot of stuff killed the show, they had the opportunity to make Naruto the most OP character in the show but instead Kishimoto focused too much on Sasuke and the Uchiha Clan, we don’t even know a lot about the Uzumaki clan’s village, or the other hidden villages and how there villages work or the other clans of Konoha itself. He had Kakashi but he mostly focused on Sasuke and was always late. Thing is Naruto had the potential to become a godly version of Levi from attack on titan considering he could be the Levi of his own show, if they changed naruto’s attitude as a kid to be molded like Levi’s where he calls people out on their own bullshit and has power to back up his action. Seriously they could have made a relationship with Kurama and naruto earlier Instead of waiting all the way to Shippuden to do it and build upon a great relationship earlier. Then there’s the fact that all naruto did was spam rasengan, Jiraiya could have taught him more instead of nine tails chakra, different versions of rasengan, I mean Jiraiya could have told him when he was training for the Chunnin exams finals the secret for the shadow clone and sped along his training. really naruto could have taught himself shurikenjutsu, kenjutsu, a better taijutsu, elemental ninjutsu, seriously if he could steal the forbidden scroll what makes you think he couldn’t steal Jutsu to make himself the best in the show and if the fans complain about Sasuke stealing Jutsu with his Sharingan then make a sealing technique where it’s implanted on oneself to stop him from stealing the Jutsu like fuck y’all made susanoo to be of the biggest hax. All I’m saying is he had potential, they didn’t even give him uzumaki chakra chains, uzumaki red hair to match his namesake, didn’t give him a face similar to Minato when Jiraiya said he looked a lot like Minato, and didn’t mention said parents when they could have when he left to train after part 1, seriously Jiraiya could have taught him all that to surpass Minato, even after naruto said that shit. The flying thunder god Jutsu could have been given to him because Minato got it from the second hokage and Minato bettered it, he could have been a sealing master like his clan was, and they completely shitted on his character and made him chase Sasuke the whole show, seriously it was gay and I see where the fandom gets that gay assumption from like if you doing all this for him, then you should have made Sasuke a girl to make a little sense because no one is ever going that far to keep a nutass promise to useless pink haired girl. Seriously they butchered him and the show, the show could have gone on for at least until it reached 2000 episodes if they had explained the clans, divisions of the village, the uzumaki clan and a lot of other things we need answers to instead of the endless fillers and flashbacks. Hell they could have made minato related to Tobirama by being his grandson to give minato’s character a bit more depth and the fact naruto could have had Mokuton and didn’t because the fandom would say it makes no sense when they had asura using it and Hashirama using it, considering naruto is a transmigrant of asura and they didn’t do it like i said naruto could have done all that considering he had said he would surpass all the hokage since episode 1 but they didn’t even do it. Technically correct, granted I will give Rock Lee a pass for being the only character in the whole of Naruto worth a damn. Cause he is the one guy that embodies what the message of the series was supposed to be. That's the one good thing I'll say about it. With that out of the way now is a good time for a comparison: Good Anime Villain VS Bad Anime Villain. Lets take Freeza from the Namek arc of Dragon Ball Z and compare him to Madara. Phase 1, the introduction: When we the audience first meet Freeza he is going around and collecting the Dragon balls with the goal of becoming immortal and he is orchestrating the genocide of the Namekian people. From the get go we know who Freeza is, what he wants and we see what kind of guy he is. With Madara its basically him just killing jobbers so all we the audience really see is that he is an uber stronk ninja wizard with overpowered eyeballs. Phase 2, Contact and conflict: Freeza is exceptionally strong here as he is in phase 1. Though Phase 2 we see Krillin, Gohan and Vegeta all working to undermine Freeza's goal of immortality and these Efforts cost Freeza dearly with the loss of Dodoria, Zarbon, and all of the Ginyu force. During this time we get a glimpse of how the Freeza force operates, more of Freeza's personality gets fleshed out and we see him interacting with his subordinates. With Madara he just fights and toys with five ninja wizards who are stronk but they aren't uber stronk like Madara who just keeps getting stronker for no reason. We still don't know why he is doing any of this crap in the first place, his goal is unclear and his personality is dismissive of everyone that's not his man crush Hashirama Phase 3 Climax and Down Fall: With Freeza we all know how this pans out, we have seen it and its amazing, We see Freeza and Goku face off and we see that Freeza is Goku's opposite, everything Goku is Freeza is not, Freeza is the antithesis of Goku. Things come to a head when the Spirit bomb fails to kill Freeza and Freeza kills Krillin, the loss of his closest friend is the catalyst of Goku's transformation into a super saiyan. Freeza is defeated on Namek after Goku tried to spare him but realized Freeza is never going to change, Goku made one final attack against Freeza before leaving the doomed planet. With Madara it was basically Narutard and Brooding Edgelord become Uber Ninja wizards because some God guy exist and gave them power ups, but uh-oh the writer made Madara too stronk for the good guys to actually beat, time for the writer to beat the bad guy. And so Madara died because ass-pull. Dragon Ball Z may have its flaws and plot-holes, but the Namek arc was easily the peak of the series, there is a reason Freeza is a great anime villain and this little compare and contrast exercise shows just how bad of a villain Madara is. Raditz is a better villain than Madara and Raditz is a jobber

I didn't grow up with Naruto, and without the nostalgia goggle, I think Naruto is a deeply outdated series, it might be great back then and was acceptable, even inspiring and groundbreaking as the pioneer of Shounen genre, but by today's standards it's pretty awful. It doesn't matter if it has some legitimately great moments, it was still a bad series in general, but all the flaws are basically the traits of Shounen as a genre, it's just extremely unrefined due to it being the first of its kind. I guess that's why Black Clover was disliked by so many people, because it's a good Shounen, that did nothing to refine all the negative traits of Shounen, if you like Shounen you probably won't mind, but others will expect more, like people expect new game to fix the bugs from the previous game

Beyond that, the show had some decent characters and an arguably good story, but it was ruined by the bad character writing of Naruto, Sasuke and many other characters and the blatant spam of shadow clones and rasengan. And don't even get me started on renigan. Bleach and Hunter x Hunter were so much better with great fight scenes and excellent fight choreography. Avatar the last Airbender was also so much better, because it had a character that was the chosen one from the start but was never treated like he was an all powerful God. The creators just wanted to ride the coatails of Dragon Ball and hired KZbin channels to act like Naruto was great, channels like Watchmojo.

Honestly it had potential and failed to capitalize on it, the fillers killed the show for me and the whole Sasuke chasing got annoying, We literally know more on the Uchiha Clan than the Uzumaki Clan that was destroyed because they were too dangerous with sealing. Naruto could have done so much world building and explanation on things yet it was wasted on fillers, Sasuke, and amongst other things

Naruto is one of the most overrated anime and manga of all time and not just in terms of story but also in terms of powerscaling. I saw some random motherfuckers saying 12 year old Chunin exams Rock lee is stronger than Wano Luffy💀💀💀💀💀💀 and another person saying Naruto is better than berserk💀💀💀💀💀💀💀bro have not read a single chapter of Berserk,heck Naruto as protagonist is terrible and talk no jutsu is one of the most stupid mc trait of all time, I'm sorry but Naruto legit just call the person that kills his parents,made the entire leaf village despise him and killed thousands upon thousands of innocent people because his childhood crush died. Naruto literally called Obito "cool". I'm sorry but Some people are just better off dead/irredeemable and giving Obito this irredeemable trait makes him a better antagonist in my opinion because Naruto will finally fucking realise that he cannot save everyone.
